The hotel's strengths are the spacious rooms and the presence of a bathtub, making for a generally comfortable stay. The cleanliness was acceptable and met basic standards, but the overall environment was quite ordinary, with nothing particularly special about it. The only minor letdown was the service details: even though we booked a triple room, they only provided two sets of toothbrushes and bath towels. We were even charged an extra RM5 for an additional bath towel, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, if you're looking for a short stay and prioritize space and basic comfort, this hotel is a decent option, but there's room for improvement in terms of service details.

We stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and we’re truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable. From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip. All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable. We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding. A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good!). The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special. Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out it’s officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.

Very strategic location but seems cleanliness big issue as toilet basin leaking and when we check in has some left over rubbish in the room and the pillow case seems long time didn't change. In terms of location it's very strategic travel within Ipoh town area. Do take note when exit lift area there a slight slope which me and my wife almost fell down. Think hotel must put a various sign on this too especially for elderly not aware such risk

The place is clean and well managed. Self check in Malaysia is a surprise but works well. Each co living units has a few rooms but the main common room is well equipped with living space facilities. Location is also nice since it's close to the old town and everything is within walking distance. The parking space has tight entrance but could easily be managed by a seasoned driver. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice and cheap place to stay

First time here, the receptionist was very nice and helpful. This hotel has stairs, not an elevator, so getting a room on Level 1 was good as it wasn't too high to climb. However, the stairwell area smelled like smoke, so I hope the hotel can address that. The room itself was fine; it had a window, the air conditioning was strong, and the water heater worked. We got comfortable towels, free toothbrushes, a small toothpaste, and complete bath soap and shampoo. The room also had a hairdryer. As for noise from outside, that's pretty normal because the walls are thin, and you can hear people walking by. But overall, the 2-day, 1-night stay was worth the price.

Strategic location, spacious rooms suitable for families, and most importantly, there's even a mini theme park for the kids. The kids were happy staying at this hotel. The staff were also friendly and helped make the registration process smooth.

As a lawyer from Kuala Lumpur travelling to Ipoh for the purpose of attending court, this is definitely my go-to hotel in Ipoh. It’s extremely convenient (less than a kilometre to Ipoh High court), clean, nearly refurbished! On top of that, there’s a 7Eleven at the Lobby of the Hotel. Highly recommend to any lawyers from other states who travels on a regular basis to attend Ipoh High Court and needs to stay for at least one night.

The Rocky Farm is very unique, was surrounded by tall and great cliff, and have few pond in the farm. The farm is far from city, its quiet and can hear the birds and insects chirping. The scenery and experience is good and relaxing, and the owner is very kind and helpful.

I’m from Ipoh and brought my Friends here for a short gateway . What a wonderful hotel to stay . Walking distance to famous restaurants and attractions. Easy to grab . Beside a restaurant got a nice restaurant to dine in especially the tou fu fa !!! Much nicer than the famous one . Another Japanese restaurant just beside the hotel . I will definitely recommended for all .

Nothing but good things to say about the Bedrock Hotel. We were actually across the road from the hotel itself as we had one of the junior suites, which are in a newly refurbished building. The suites are fabulous, they are very roomy and very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. The bathroom itself was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have had recently and the thoughtful addition of a water filter that provides hot, cold or ambient water to order was priceless. The suites do not have kitchenettes (although they do have a small fridge) they do have a coffee machine, cups, cutlery, plates, bowls and even wine glasses in the same cabinet as the fridge, all of which came in very useful. The bed was also super comfortable and the AC worked well too. We had originally tried to book in the Old Town itself but there was limited availability, the Bedrock was a great second choice, as it was just a short 10 to 15 minute walk away and the breakfast was great too.
