It was a very cute hotel.
The path from entering the hotel to our room was stylish and lovely.
The room was spacious. There were no windows facing the outside, but there was one facing the courtyard? The Wi-Fi worked well. I think the amenities were all you needed.
The location is convenient for getting around Guanajuato. It's a bit of a challenge, but you can also walk to Pipila Hill.
I was worried because I saw some reviews on Google saying there were bed bugs, but there weren't any in the room I stayed in.
Considering the low price, the entire hotel was very clean, and they provided free water and a coffee machine with a wide selection, so I was very satisfied.
Although it is far from the city center, the town itself is small so it's not too far and it's easy to get around using Uber.
I would definitely stay here again if I come to San Miguel de Allende again.
The location is amazing. The balcony has a beautiful view. There is not enough hot water. You should take a shower before the sun sets. If you are late, there is only cold water. The bathroom has poor ventilation. It may be related to the layout of the room.

Casona Alonso 10, is located in the historic center of the city of Guanajuato, in a beautiful house built at the end of the 18th century and remodeled in 2010. Decorated in the Viceregal Colonial Baroque style.
As a cultural heritage of humanity, the city of Guanajuato has been characterized by the presence of art and culture in its museums or squares and our 8 rooms are no exception. Traditional architecture in its structure but modern in its decoration, our suites, in addition to having the ideal space for the comfort of our visitors, honor art with works by Guanajuato artists with paintings and ceramics exclusively designed for this hotel house.
Our incomparable mix between tradition and luxury in the historic center of the Guanjuatense capital offers Casona Alonso 10, "Traditional Dining Room" cuisine based on Mexican ingredients and traditional recipes. Also available for private gastronomic events, it offers a capacity for up to 40 guests in the heart of Guanajuato.
Reminiscent of colonial tradition in its decorative surroundings, our restaurant specialized in Mexican flavors cooks gastronomic experiences that place it as one of the best in the center of the country. With touches of new creation, our menu compiles the best to delight the palates of visitors on the first floor of the hotel.
A hidden whiskey shop will soon open in an underground bar beneath the mansion.
The environment is very good 👍, the facilities are complete, and the service is okay. But when booking a hotel, some bring their own breakfast, which is only basic. Coffee with bread and butter. If you want more, you can only order it a la carte.
Good environment, very convenient location
Guanajuato is a historic city in central Mexico known for its rich cultural heritage and unique architectural style. Guanajuato at night is even more charming.
Colorful buildings:
The hillsides of Guanajuato are lined with brightly colored houses, and at night, against the lights, these buildings look more dreamy, like a fairy tale world.
2. Pippila Monument (Monumento al Pípila):
This is one of the best places to overlook the panoramic view of Guanajuato. Standing at night beside the monument, you can enjoy the brilliantly lit view of the entire city, which is spectacular.
Theatre of Juárez (Teatro Juárez):
This neoclassical building is particularly elegant under the night lights and is a symbol of Guanajuato culture and art.
The Jardín de la Unión (United Garden):
This is the central square in Guanajuato, where the night is lively and the lights and music of the surrounding restaurants and cafes create a romantic atmosphere.
5. Light Festival (Festival Internacional del Globo):
If it coincides with the lighting festival, Guanajuato at night will be lit up by various lighting equipment and artistic projections, becoming a visual feast.
Guanajuato's night scene not only shows its history and culture, but also full of romance and vitality
Highly recommend. The location is good, the hotel door is facing the side door of the cathedral, beside the Peace Square, between the Notre Dame Cathedral and the University of Guanajuato, there are many attractions within walking distance. What's more valuable is that it is a street away from United Garden, where the nightlife is full of restaurants, and it is not noisy, except for the church bells, and there is no noise at night. The room is not big, the table is small, the facilities are complete, hot water is sufficient, WIFI is stable (this is a plus in Mexico). There is a rooftop on the top floor where you can see the night view. The waiters are very good, and the general English is not fluent. Please prepare translation software. One of the disadvantages is that there is no elevator, and the waiter should give tips to help carry luggage. Second, breakfast is not good. There is no hot dishes or meat for 145 pesos per person. It is recommended to eat out. There are many choices around. All things considered, it is highly recommended.

Bbm998I stayed one night at the Hilton Garden Inn Silao Aeropuerto Bajio for a business trip and was overall very pleased with the experience. The standout feature for me was the extremely comfortable bed—perfect for getting a restful night's sleep before a busy day.
The free airport shuttle was another big plus. I called as soon as I landed, and the shuttle arrived within 10 minutes—fast, convenient, and stress-free.
While the stay was generally very good, I did notice the bathroom cleanliness could use a bit more attention, especially around the small details. The toilet was also clogged upon arrival, which was a minor inconvenience.
That said, the value for the price was excellent, and despite those small issues, I would definitely return for future business trips. With a bit more attention to bathroom maintenance, this would be a near-perfect stay.
GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were small but very cozy, making them comfortable and inviting. Everything was exceptionally clean, especially the bathroom, which I truly appreciated. The hotel has a lovely rustic design that creates a warm and charming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The only minor inconvenience was that the parking lot is located a bit far from the hotel. While this isn’t necessarily a negative aspect, it can be a bit troublesome, particularly when it’s raining.
Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again.
GGuest UserGood location, very friendly service staff ! but negative, the staff are very distrustful and keep running after you to ask you to pay, especially in the restaurant. like . Very unpleasant and a big change from last year. That's why we changed the hotel.
DDale StrackHotel staff are incredibly helpful and very accommodating. Parking is available and a must have when staying in San Miguel Allende. Breakfast from 9-11 included eggs cooked for you, not the usual you would have expected like cereal etc. The area is relatively quiet, we slept like babies. The location is an an easy and inexpensive cab ride from the hotel and the best way to travel back and forth from the city. Beautiful environment that lives up to its name, MANSION SAN MIGUEL ALLENDE!!!!
AAnonymous UserExcellent hotel, very comfortable & spacious room. Plenty of hbo channels & was easy to change language preference. The frigobar functioned perfectly & kept my frozen food frozen.
I heard some music for a short while, but it wasn’t late. I found the breakfast above average as the chef knows how to prepare eggs nicely (not pulverized or overcooked to minuscule crumbs), but the orange juice didn’t seem authentic.
Hotel staff was friendly & welcoming. My room was spotless!
KKurzaIt’s great combination of price and quality. We like: 1) very quite rooms for nice sleep and 100% noise free despite location next to highway, 2) good hot water, which can be a problem in the country, but not in this hotel, 3) breakfast, which is not big, but has everything you need (check pictures), 4) friendly reception. Only problem was an elevator in the hotel (actually both elevators were problem), which wasn’t solved while our stay. Nice place!
GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is perfect.
You can walk to most of the tourist attractions from the hotel.
The structure of the hotel is like a labyrinth, and the room is dark.
Unlike many other hotels, they stuck the 3pm check-in time very strictly. I was not allowed to enter the room by 3pm.
All the people at the reception were unfriendly.
JJesijeThe hotel is good, the room is clean, the housekeeping staff are friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. However, I booked a room with a kitchen, but there were no cooking utensils such as a knife, cutting board, or pot. When I requested a knife for cooking, I was given a meat-cutting knife instead.
GGuest UserI was very happy with this classic hacienda on the hill with great overview of the wide valley 😃 - the hotel has save private parking lots and quiet surrounding. The swimming pool was refreshing - you only have to walk a steep street or take a Uber/Taxi to reach to city center and back.
