Overall, a great experience. The front desk staff could speak basic Chinese, English, and Japanese, making communication very easy. They proactively changed towels and emptied trash whenever I went out, which I really appreciated. Although the location is quite close to the Nishinari area, so you might hear some cars speeding by late at night, it's also very convenient as Shin-Imamiya Station is nearby, with an airport express train at 5:17 AM – perfect for early flights. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning seemed to have an issue on the last night and wasn't cooling. However, it was late, so I just opened the window and managed to sleep.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights.
Pros: It's very close to Higobashi JR station, making it super convenient to get to Nishi-Umeda. Right outside the hotel, there's a coffee shop, 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, a popular ramen place (Jinkotora – delicious!), Matsuya, and Starbucks. The location is absolutely fantastic.
Cons: There's no housekeeping service, not even for 'green' cleaning. They only hang towels outside your door. I really wish this information had been disclosed when I booked, rather than finding out only after I arrived at the hotel. I was quite disappointed about that. Secondly, the trash cans are tiny and don't come with trash bags. So, you can imagine the hallways on our floor were covered in unpackaged trash. Since there were no trash bags in the room, we tried to eat our takeaway in the lobby, but were told we couldn't eat anything there. Well, nothing we could do about that.
I visited during the May Day Golden Week holiday, paying 2000 RMB for 3 nights. For that price, wouldn't a B&B have been a better option? While the location is good, I won't be returning to this hotel. I hope someone finds my objective review helpful. Thank you.

The room is a bit too old looking but still clean. Hotel has a smoke area by the entrance which is quite bothersome.
There is no common area to sit and chill out just like any other hotels. The room also has no air condition. If you need good air ventilation, you need to leave windows open which can be very noisy as the hotel is right beside a main street, many emergency cars passby.

Extremely satisfied! This hotel offers excellent value for money. You can store your luggage for free if you arrive before check-in time. The hotel has a washing machine (with a drying function) which is free to use (laundry pods are also provided free of charge by the hotel), and a free gym (with limited hours). The hotel decor is very new, and the room is exceptionally clean; everything feels brand new. It's just over 1 km from Dotonbori, about a ten-minute walk. There's also a microwave and a vending machine available.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's within walking distance to JR Namba Station and also Nankai Line Station, making it convenient to take a train to Kansai Airport. Namba Yasaka Shrine is nearby, as are two large shopping centers, Takashimaya and Namba Parks. Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori are a bit further but still accessible on foot. The hotel facilities are pretty standard, just like other Toyoko Inns. The breakfast here is slightly more varied than what I had at Toyoko Inns in Takamatsu and Matsuyama. Overall, I'd recommend it for solo travelers; it offers good value for money.
This hotel offers great value for money and has an amazing location, right next to Tsutenkaku Tower. It's very convenient to get to from the airport, just about a five-minute walk from Shin-Imamiya Station (served by JR and Nankai lines).

Stayed at the hotel for almost three weeks. The location is very good for the price. The hotel itself may not be the newest, but it’s quite well thought out. Overall it’s quiet, though sometimes I was woken up by sirens since there’s a police station nearby and a fire station a bit further away. The reception is good, housekeeping is good, and the breakfasts are decent.
Also, note that the hotel is close to metro stations on both the purple and green lines. The purple line (near the 7-Eleven) goes directly to Umeda, from where you can easily reach Kyoto and Kobe, and from Tennoji you can get to Nara. The green line will take you to the aquarium.
I went to Osaka Castle almost every day because it’s so close - highly recommend visiting it in the evening, around 8 PM. It’s a great experience: very few people and the castle looks amazing when illuminated.
There are also McDonald’s and Burger King nearby with self-service kiosks that accept ICOCA and Suica, just like the 7-Eleven and other nearby convenience stores.
I especially recommend evening walks from the hotel to Dotonbori via Hommachi. Along the way you’ll pass boutiques with beautiful displays, including luxury car showrooms.
This is a newly opened hotel, conveniently located near Tsutenkaku Tower, the zoo, and an art museum. Abeno is just a 10-15 minute walk away. Check-in is a hybrid of self-service machines and staff assistance on the ground floor. Toiletries are self-service, and they don't provide small samples like makeup remover or toner. The price is good, around 100+ per night on weekdays. The bathroom and room are a bit on the smaller side. Some rooms face Tsutenkaku Tower and the zoo. Rooms facing the zoo are near the highway, and even with the windows closed, it's quite noisy. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to reconsider or request a specific room orientation during check-in. Aside from the highway noise, it's excellent value for money.

Very Good
The room itself is well maintained and the facilities are common basic ones that I need as a solo female traveler. It a 5 minute walk to Juso Station and a lot of convenience store around. They have a coin laundry machine as well so it was easier to wash clothes when I needed it. All additional things that you need such as toiletries are also readily available at the lobby area. And the best part was the free breakfast!
Very worth it in Osaka Japan hotel !!! The hotel is impeccably clean, extremely convenient, and offers spacious rooms that easily accommodate four large suitcases. The thoughtful layout and ample space made our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. Highly recommended for travelers seeking both comfort and practicality!
location just 7 minutes walking distance to any nearest you want to go. Rooms is quiet even there are busy outside the hotel. Only I don't like is the pillow, it too flat for me.
This hotel offers complimentary breakfast for all guests. The room is small but well optimized. Complimentary toiletries are available at reception 24X7. They don't offer complimentary water bottles, need to buy from their vending machine. It's little far from osaka station.

Great
stayed in a spacious two-bedroom unit and it was perfect for our family. My daughter’s absolute favorite part was the lovely bathtub — it made every evening so relaxing. The room was cleaned every single day, which kept everything fresh and comfortable. One of the biggest plus points was the location: plenty of halal food options and cafés nearby, and just a short walk to Namba, which made exploring Osaka so easy. The staff were truly excellent — always helpful, kind, and welcoming. Their hospitality made our stay extra memorable. Highly recommend Plum Hotel Osaka for families and anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-notch service!

Very Good
AAmarFromUKLocation: Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet. There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day) Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage Hotel Room: We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything. Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay Hotel features: Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views. The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free. The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day. Staff: Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful Overview: 100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.
