3-Star Hotels in Iwate Prefecture, Japan

"We were two people staying 3 nights. We had breakfast and we were very happy with it (6:30-10:00, L.O 9:30). It didn’t change much during the stay, but it had a lot of options and it tasted good. The room was small. If you have suitcase it will be hard to open it up. We didn’t have suitcases, so for us it was no problem. The bed and pillows were comfortable. They have a manga library and coffe machine (15:00-22:00), and space with tables and chairs where you can e.g eat. They have laundry as well (10:00-22:00). It was cheep (washing 400 yen 30 min, dryer 100 yen 10 min). It was a standing washing machine (which I don’t really like) and we had a lot of laundry, so we went to another coin laundry 1 min walk from the hotel, which was good (washing 15 kg 30 min 800 yen, drying 10 min 100 yen). We didn’t use room cleaning, but every day we got a bag of towels on our door knob. It is around 10-15 min walk to the station. But it’s close to shopping streets and Iwaki park. It has a lot of restaurants close by. If you like all-you-can-drink there’s a lot of options close by as well. After check out we left our baggage for a couple of hours. It was no problem. The people at the hotel were very nice and polite. Overall we had a very nice stay at this hotel."

"How do I describe this hotel? In one word: amazing. It was my first time experiencing a mixed-gender bath from over a century ago. I was truly impressed! The elderly gentlemen were just casually strolling around without a care in the world. Families, you absolutely must try the mixed-gender outdoor hot spring bath. It's located in the old wing of the hotel, a bit of a walk from the new wing, but once you're in the hotel, just grab a map and you'll find it. You can also take the opportunity to peek into the rooms and dining hall of this century-old ryokan. As for the room, it goes without saying that upon entering, you're greeted with a flood of green, which was quite a pleasant surprise. The only minor point is that the Hozawa River was a bit murky. I drove upstream along the river, and soon lost cell service, so it is quite remote, but definitely worth a visit. The two meals were decent, nothing spectacular but perfectly acceptable."

"Highly recommended  Quicke check in, check out  Public hot springs bathhouse is a very big plus. This one is real hot springs water not just a big hot bathtub. Good location everything is in walking distance  Comfortable stay"

"This hotel is really out-of-the-way; I'd recommend driving. It's mainly a place to go if you want to ski, as it's by a ski resort. I found the area to be very quiet. The hotel food was excellent, though you'll need some level of Japanese proficiency to effectively communicate with the staff. You can enjoy a bath in your room, or the hot springs downstairs. Overall quite nice, the rooms have a cottage feel."

"ここ３年連続…故郷復興釜石祭りの応援で帰郷…市内の真ん中に位置する御HOTELは一人部屋でも比較的圧迫感なく…大浴場があるのが嬉しい。実家は50年前から無く、親戚や友人は居るが、皆年寄りになり、迷惑をかける訳にはいかないので、丁度良い宿泊施設です。現在71歳で来年は行けるかどうか？…1,300kmの運転が？？…釜石祭り以外でも、何かあれば御HOTELを利用します。また徒歩2分の場所に友人が経営する ”スナックドリーム(童里夢)” があるのでgoodです。また宜しく🖐️❗"

I don't want to eat rice from the morning to BGM with the chewing sound of people. ■ Since there is coffee, I think that the turnover rate of the venue will be increased if there is a set of paper cups and lids so that it can be brought back to the room. ■ The two ice machines are too small with paper cups. ■ Laundry is clean, but I want you to sell detergent. ■ 5 vending machines have too much room temperature. I want you to increase the cold ones. ■ 1 return の automatic refrigerator を new 500 hard goods にしてほしい. ■ The staff at the front desk and the breakfast venue are polite and friendly. ■ Department House は Yuan Li で Yuan い ■ Amenities are no problem ■ I want Apa water for a few minutes for a night. ■ The room is convenient because it is a card key type ■ It is convenient to have a refrigerator and a freezer. ■ I want something to see the humidity in the room. ■ Microwave oven is convenient, but I think it's okay to be on each floor. ■ It is good to have a large bath in the morning and evening. ■ Parking is dotted, but if you get used to it, you don't care."

"Newly renovated hotel with spacious rooms and nice river view. Japanese and western style daily buffet breakfast included. There's also a public bath, coin laundry, fitness room and free parking for hotel guests. Excellent location as it's near the train station. The only thing is they blocked the smart TV features so I couldn't watch YouTube, Netflix etc. Hotel staff are nice and offered to change rooms for our friends. I'd definitely come back to this hotel if I visit Kitakami again!"

"Hotel Jin Morioka is just next to the train station. Very convenient location as a center point to travel in the region. Rooms are clean and nice with Mountain View. Breakfast for only 1000 Yen is a very good offer. Definitely recommend this hotel 👍"
