Great hotel with unbeatable location and value for money. Very nice staff who have been very helpful with practical tips for getting around and where to eat. Shoutout to the receptionist who has been to the Philippines a few times!
The room was decent, it's a bit of a walk up to the hotel but they do provide a free shuttle bus service from the ferry terminal, though I didn't take it as I like to explore the island a bit. The hotel is relatively closer to the Mt Misen Ropeway, but sadly it was under maintenence during my stay there.
The public bath is the highlight of my stay there, it was amazing and nobody was using it in the time I was there, so I had the entire jacuzzi to myself to relax in. For the shy ones, you are able to check if the bath is occupied from the television in the room before heading there.
The staff were very kind and tried their best to communicate with me in English, and even provided recommendations for dinner around the island as I did not opt for the dinner there. A single momiji manju was waiting on the table when I entered the room with a handwritten note from the staff, which was a very nice gesture.
Location is great, close to everything from peace memorial to ferry boat to Miyajima to food strip of Nagarekawa 💯 will definitely stay here again.
Staff are good , accomodating and welcoming.
Small room, but equipped with everything one would need. -1 for the cleanliness, the brown cushion smelled like stale saliva from the previous guest, and dust was spotted at window and headboard :(
This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Hiroshima Station, right across from the T-Site bookstore. The lobby is on the second floor, and there's a convenience store right on the ground floor. Check-in is self-service, and you can store your luggage for free. They even provide face masks with the toiletries, which is a nice touch! Breakfast is a generous spread, though you might need to queue a bit around 7:00 AM. There were a lot of European and American tourists visiting Hiroshima. Overall, a really great hotel.
It was my 2nd stay at this hotel and Loved it!
Location is a bit far from Miyajima station by walk but free car parking and also they have shuttle to ferry terminal.(like 10-15min by walk)
There’s some restaurant and 7/11 right in front of hotel.
Def we will be back again!
The hotel is great, very close to the station, just a three-minute walk away. It has a large public bath. Besides breakfast, the hotel also offers a very special dinner. There are buses and trams right outside the hotel.
Enjoy a luxurious stay in Miyajima and Hiroshima in this special private villa.
Located just a 3-minute walk from JR Miyajimaguchi Station, the gateway to the World Heritage site Itsukushima, this private house boasts an ideal location. It's also close to the ferry terminal, providing easy access to Miyajima, as well as convenient single-train connections to central Hiroshima, including the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park.
The harmonious blend of tranquil design and high-quality interiors makes it perfect for families and groups. Relax and converse in the spacious living room, enjoying a luxurious stay reminiscent of a private villa.
Enjoy a peaceful environment while maintaining excellent accessibility for sightseeing.
Experience the full charm of Miyajima and Hiroshima while enjoying a truly relaxing stay.
*Please note that this property is located on the mainland side, not on Miyajima Island.
It's easily accessible, just three minutes from the station.
The breakfast is delicious.
There was a duplicate hotel room, so they gave me a free room, which I appreciated.
Nice hotel, in a very good central area. We stayed for 2 nights during first days of April. There was not any noise problems during night. My only negative is that the room looks bigger in the photos than reality and no optionof opening the window.. But still enough space for 2 people 2 single beds. If you can also send your luggages to next hotel even better.

Great
EEuonchThere was a crowd during check-in, but the hotel staff efficiently handed out queue numbers, allowing guests to wait comfortably on the sofas. The room I got was perfectly quiet, which was great! Since it's a business hotel with a high turnover, if you need to sleep in a bit later during the day, you can call the front desk beforehand to arrange a suitable room cleaning time. This way, you can get a better rest in the morning. Check-out is a bit early at 10 AM, but you can pay to extend it for ¥1,000 per hour. The hotel also has laundry machines and a public bath on the top floor, making it excellent value for money. The staff provided great service too. Highly recommended!
OOsama BoussifI think it is unfair that this hotel has a low score on Trip.com. The reason I say this is because people were either looking for a “cheap hotel” in Hiroshima and were surprised by how far it is from Hiroshima Station and the city center, or they assumed the hotel was located on Miyajima Island.
Since there are only five reviews on Trip.com as I am writing this, I want to make clear who this hotel is suitable for and who it is not.
This hotel is perfect for people who want to stay as close as possible to the Miyajima ferry and spend just one night before heading to the island the next morning. You can reach the ferry either by walking (around 30 minutes) or by taking the local tram (around a 10–15 minute ride).
This hotel is not a good fit if you want to stay in Hiroshima and explore the city. It is not close to Hiroshima Station, the city center, or any sightseeing spots. The area around the hotel also offers nothing, there were no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so take that into account.
However, if your plan is to stay one night and go to Miyajima Island as early as possible the next morning, and you are traveling with limited luggage (do not bring large suitcases or any heavy luggage), then this hotel is a good choice. We had our main luggage sent to our hotel next to Hiroshima Station and only carried a small 5 kg carry-on with clothes for the next day. The walk from the nearest metro station to the hotel was about 10–15 minutes, and it was not as difficult as some reviews made it sound. Just use Google Maps and you will be fine.
About the hotel itself, because of what we read, we expected nothing, but we were pleasantly surprised. The check-in process, done by machine, was instant and smooth with no issues at all. Sometimes I really wonder what people are doing when I read their experiences.
The room itself was more than fine. You have all the amenities you need, the room was spacious enough for two people with luggage, the bed was big enough for us, the hotel was clean, and overall it felt like a good hotel. I was even surprised that the hotel had a laundry room.
DDr.p3pp3rThe location of this hotel is excellent. It’s right next to Peace Memorial Park, directly behind the museum, in a quiet and pleasant area. It’s about a 3–5 minute walk from the tram stop and around 5 minutes to the main shopping street. If you get this hotel at a good price and only plan a short stay focused on the Peace Park, the location is definitely a plus.
The room itself, however, was extremely small. Seating was uncomfortable — only a small stool with no back, and in my case the screws were sticking out, making it unsafe and unpleasant to use. You are basically either on the bed or out of the room.
The biggest issue was severe condensation and dampness. The room had extreme moisture problems — water running down the walls and windows, and the bed and floor becoming damp overnight. I woke up with wet feet and later realised why. This is not normal condensation; it was excessive and clearly an ongoing issue. I raised this with the front desk when checking out, but it was brushed off. After contacting Trip.com with photos and videos, the hotel refused responsibility once I had checked out. Trip.com eventually offered partial compensation, but the hotel itself showed no accountability.
Because of this, I would not stay here again. I am not overly picky with hotels, but a damp room that can make guests sick is unacceptable.
Also, I do not recommend the breakfast. You receive a very small bento box with unclear contents and a bottled tea. For the price, you are far better off going to a nearby convenience store like Lawson.
Overall: great location, but poor room conditions and lack of responsibility from the hotel. There are better options in this area.
KKhabibov IlnurGreat room. It was clean and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly. Free coffee from a machine is available at the front desk. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right next door. The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.
GGuest UserOk, this one is difficult to rate.
The room comes with a magnificient view on the sea. That's what made me chose that place.
But it is remote. So, if you have no car, except walking a good 2km from the train station along a road.
There is nothing to eat there. It is a stop/sleep/leave concept of hotel. Once again, if you have no car... you won't walk back the 2km to find something to eat.
You sleep on the floor. No surprise here and I slept particularly well so, no complains. Just be aware of that.
Toilets, bath, all is shared.
Room are old but all ok and one of the biggest space I got during this trip. Furnitures are also old. You may feel like you are staying at grandma place for a while.
The building, from the 70's probably, is not sound proof. You may enjoy your neighbor sleep. As I did.
I did book for 2. Probably because Trip was not proposing other option or because it was the cheapest one, not sure. The lady at the entrance kept me waiting for 15mn for that reason showing that she was embarrassed to give me the keys for that already paid room. This moment was uncomfortable to say the least.
The remote part, the furnitures style, the oldish atmosphere, the old room door still requiring a key and that squeak a little bit... may not please everyone. It comes with its sweet creepy feeling.
Not an hotel for everyone. But damn, the view in the morning... splendid.
LlkjidmThis was my second stay at a Livemax hotel, and it was excellent once again! This time, I chose the branch located in Funairi-machi.
The location is superb, conveniently close to both Funairi-machi Station (Line 6) and Komachi Station (Line 2). The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options, parks, beautiful river views, and even drugstores.
The service was good, and the facilities were comprehensive. I especially appreciated the large TV, which made for a very comfortable viewing experience.
The only minor drawback was that the duvet had a somewhat strange texture and wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Aside from that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. It's truly an unbeatable choice for anyone visiting Hiroshima!
TTouravelholicGood location, near to the coin car parking because no car parking available in the hotel. This is a perfect place for family, the hotel is so comfy and wide. we enjoyed so much and for sure we will come back again.
CChoi lingExcept for the Japanese dinner, everything else is satisfactory! The hotel is a 6-7 minute walk to Itsukushima Shrine. Breakfast is a buffet and dinner is Kaiseki cuisine. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything is not delicious! I have stayed in at least five or six Japanese traditional hot spring hotels with breakfast and dinner. This one has the worst dinner. The hot spring facilities are also very old!
GGuest UserI had a great stay at this hostel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was perfect It felt relaxed from the moment I arrived. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers!
GGuangyaoyishengThe hotel is great, very close to the station, just a three-minute walk away. It has a large public bath. Besides breakfast, the hotel also offers a very special dinner. There are buses and trams right outside the hotel.
