It's really clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful. There's a coin laundry at the 3rd floor as well as vending machines. There are also toiletries provided for free. One can also rent a night wear for free.
The limousine bus stop to the airport is across the street. It's also 4-5 mins walk to either Fushimi and Sakae train stations.
You can easily walk from the hotel to the heart of Sakae, Nagoya's downtown.

Being a Marriott property, the facilities, service, and cleanliness were all quite good. It's very close to Nagoya Station, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and the underground shopping street also offers many food options. Getting to the Sakae shopping district is convenient as well.

The hotel is really close to the subway station, about a four to five-minute walk. I didn't pay attention when I booked, and this particular street is a bit... 'special' at night, haha, but it's not a huge problem.
Right downstairs, there's a Lawson and a FamilyMart, plus a Matsuya fast-food restaurant. There were also several highly-rated restaurants nearby, but I didn't have time to try them!
It's about six or seven subway stops from Nagoya Dome, no transfers needed, and takes around 20-30 minutes, which is quite convenient!
The front desk staff were very friendly, but the check-in time is strictly enforced – only from 3 PM. There's a seating area nearby where you can wait, and breakfast is even included! Though I didn't actually eat it.
The room is small but has everything you need. It's perfect for one person, no big issues! If you're coming to the Dome for a concert, you might want to consider this place! 🫶🏻

It was nice stay. The hotel has their free Onsen (public bath) and it was not bad. I gelt their breakfast was local (nagoya?) taste. I saw variety jp meals there.

True to Japanese style, the room was small but incredibly new and clean. The bedding, in particular, was pristine, fresh, and completely odorless. Right across the street, there's an underground shopping mall and a bus stop, perfect for basic dining, drinks, and convenience store needs. The bus to the airport is super convenient. If you head right and cross the road, you'll find a commercial plaza with an electricity tower and a small recreational park, featuring a few major brand stores. Further down is the Sakae shopping district.

The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, was larger than most hotel bathrooms. It's very close to Nagoya Station, with a 7-Eleven right downstairs. About 300 meters away, there's a 24-hour Aeon supermarket and a rather large drug store. There's also a street with many dining options within 300 meters. Plus, there's a shrine downstairs with several cats!

Check in and out was easy and automated with the machine at counter. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, able to speak english to a good extent
Environment was warm and welcoming, rooms were comfortable.
Maybe the breakfast could be better. Daily selection of one sandwich, either the fix katsu sandwich or the other bread, sometimes hotdog, sometimes plain bread with soup.
Drinks were very limited .didn't felt like going down for breakfast after the first 3 days
Washing machines were the winner, you can even watch the availability from room tv .
Overall is very good would stay again if I'm travelling there

This is an excellent choice to stay in Nagoya. The hotel is just 2 stations away from the Railway Station, the reception works 24 hours a day, and I checked in after 23 PM. There is a sweet and pleasant smell on each floor. While you are walking, it is like eating a cake or an ice cream. Now, they have an eco policy, so they don't turn on air conditioner just in case, and when you arrive, it is not cold. If you want cold, you can turn it however you like. I asked for a green room in advance, and they made it available for me.
The breakfast is tasty, but I didn't try the food they advertized because I came almost last minute, and the one dish out of 3 remained were cold noodles. Instead of that, I chose rice with fish, tempura and potato salad.
There was a queue in the laundry, but it was OK because it was during Obon.
Not far from the Hotel, there are the Castle and parks.
This is my second time in this hotel. I enjoyed the stay and recommend it to every tourist visiting Nagoya. Thank you very much!

Every time I come to Nagoya, I stay at this hotel. I love it! It's very close to the JR station, there's a convenience store downstairs, and the room has a huge floor-to-ceiling window! The view is absolutely amazing!

GGuest UserThe twin room I booked is spacious and clean. The staffs are very friendly and there is complimentary breakfast for the guests. Location is about 5-7 mins from Nagoya Station, there are several convenience stores like Lawson & Family Mart around the hotel. I would stay here again if I visit Nagoya
GGuest Userhotel room was pretty spacious which i really liked! interior was nice too! amenties provided at level 2 front desk were also pleasant! staff was always very sweet and helpful with requests/help!
the toilet had a remote control bidet which i saw for the first time which i found to be very funny! AHAHAHAHA
location is also really great! js like a VERY. like 20-30 meters walk to the nearest station entrance/exit (which is exit 2! google maps told me 3 when i first arrived but exit 2 is literally js outside the hotel turn left and you can see it)
i dont usually write reviews cus im lazy but i enjoyed my stay so much! would definitely book comfort inn again when i come back to japan!
WWufaxianshiThe hotel's location is fantastic, right by Kanayama Station, making transport super convenient. There's a huge Aeon supermarket downstairs, which is really handy, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and had good soundproofing.

VVinnie_OngRoom price includes breakfast, while the options are limited, the taste and quality is good. Love the curry and it's soft scrambled egg. Room size I booked is typical Japanese business hotel size, which is compact. Location is like 5-10 mins to Nagoya station, 5 mins to Aeon Mall, and 15 mins to Toyota Commemorative Museum (all in walking distance). Also they have supplementary coffee and soft drinks throughout the day at the breakfast hall until 11pm. You can heat up your food as there is a microwave there. A good hangout place with friends for night snack before hitting the bed.
GGEMchijiujunBooked this hotel for an F1 trip to Nagoya. It's conveniently located on the west side of Nagoya Station, just a 10-minute walk from Meitetsu. The hotel is new and very clean. The best part is that the front desk staff speaks fluent English! The front desk even had F1-themed decorations, showing they put a lot of effort into it.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the 榮商圈, close to many delicious food options . However, it is about a 15-minute walk from train stations, which can be quite challenging when carrying luggage. The rooms, like many other Japanese hotels, are relatively small. The breakfast was tasty, offering three choices: Japanese, Chinese, and sandwiches. The last day since I had an early flight, I hoped the hotel could arrange a take-away breakfast, but unfortunately, they couldn't as the restaurant only opens at 7 AM.
AAmeliaKuruKaraPros:
1. Room and toilet is clean. Amenities is also provided but require to take from the lobby which I feel is good.
2. Located 5 mins walk from exit 3 of Metro Fushimi Station. There is also a bus stop along the way which can brings you to Sakae area and other spots. Otherwise, walking to Sakae area is doable as well. Additionally, along the way to hotel, will spot the scenic spot of Science Museum.
3. I had opted to walked to Osu Shotengai Street from hotel. As is autumn, the route along the way was great as will pass by a park with great scenery and people.
4. Lots of restaurants/eateries, convenience mart and drug store nearby.
5. Breakfast was provided and not bad for my taste even though almost the same everyday. There is a tea/coffee/water section where is provided for free.
6. Soundproof was actually good to my surprise.
Cons:
1. Room is quite small. I had brought 2 medium and 1 small luggage but only manage to open half of the 2 medium luggages. Barely able to walk and nearly trip on the luggage.
2. The hotel lobby is located at level 2 and require to take the lift. Believe was due to Japan public holiday or is a holiday season, the hotel was quite packed during my stay. At night when back to hotel, there was long queue to take the lift despite having 2 lifts.
3. Same goes for breakfast area, if you are eating after 8am onwards, too pack and the seating place are too limited.
4. Nothing much on the view as I had gotten a room with no views and overseeing opposite rooms only.
Overall, despite the small room size and others, actually I find this hotel to be nice to stay at. I definitely recommend to stay at this hotel despite there are only few minor cons.
TTiantianzhuizhumaqidaThe location is excellent, right in front of Nagoya Station. I specifically chose it for its proximity to the bus center since I was taking a highway bus. It's super convenient with izakayas and the station nearby, and I even discovered a theater. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. The room size wasn't small at all, and while double beds are usually 1.4 meters wide, this one was 1.6 meters, which felt very spacious. Plus, they had a great selection of amenities downstairs.
GGuest UserSanco Inn Nagoya
I recently stayed at Sanco Inn Nagoya, and overall it was a very pleasant experience, especially for a short trip.
👍 Pros
Excellent Location
The hotel’s location is one of its biggest advantages. It’s very close to Nagoya Station, which makes it extremely convenient for transportation, whether you’re arriving by Shinkansen or exploring the city. Getting around was easy and stress-free.
Plenty of Restaurants Nearby
There are many restaurants within walking distance, offering a wide range of options—from local Japanese cuisine to international food. It was nice to have so many dining choices just steps away from the hotel.
Convenience Store Nearby
There’s also a mini shop (convenience store) close to the hotel, which was very handy. We could easily grab snacks, drinks, or small essentials anytime.
Good Breakfast
The breakfast was surprisingly good. There was a wide variety of dishes, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. It was a great way to start the day before heading out to explore.
👎 Cons
Small Room Size
The only downside was that the room was quite small. However, this is quite common in Japan. For us, it wasn’t a big issue since we mainly used the room just to sleep at night.
⭐ Overall
If you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located hotel near Nagoya Station, Sanco Inn Nagoya is a great choice. It’s especially suitable for short stays or travelers who prioritize location and practicality over room size. I would definitely consider staying here again.
