"Stayed here for two nights, booked on two platforms, upgraded the cabin with kitchen, because it is very convenient to drive by yourself. The store is warm, the service is simple and thoughtful, very close to the seal beach, and put the key in the designated key box when you leave. There is a feeling of vacation here, quiet and leisure, you can watch the sea view at any time, make some food at will, the weather is not very cold, there is electric heating, comfortable accommodation. "This time I traveled with my friends and booked two adjacent wooden houses. It was already evening when I arrived at the hotel. I didn't expect to pack my luggage and looked out of the wooden house window. I actually had a beautiful pink sunset, and I instantly washed away the fatigue of all the journeys.
And the real surprise is still behind! At four o'clock in the morning, we actually saw the dancing aurora in the sky outside the house, and this unexpected gift made us excited.
Of course, this stay was also full of interesting ”episodes”. Who would have thought that the four of us worked together to scrub the rented car at the door of the wooden house for a long time? It also became a unique memory of the journey.
Regarding the room, the interior of the wooden house is really not big, but it can be described as ”completely complete” and the basic needs can be met. The only inconvenience is that the luggage is not very easy to put, the space is relatively compact, and it is probably barely able to spread out two suitcases.
Overall, it was a stay full of surprises and stories, and everything was worth it for the sunset and aurora outside that window."

"The room is not big, but the interior decoration is very chic and the service staff is very good. The scenery outside the room is invincible, and the door is the mountain and a large green space. There is a refrigerator in the room and the hair dryer is a little worse. I had dinner at the hotel and ordered a fish and lamb chops. It is best to book by email or phone in advance. The fish tastes good, the lamb chops are average and there is not much meat, and the side dishes are a bit salty."

"We booked a triple room, the hotel was very intimate, the double bed plus a bed room type, divided into three beds for us. thank you very much! 👍👍👍
 There is a small tea area and a small refrigerator in the room. The windows are small and the room will be stuffy. The bathroom is large, but the toilet 🚽 equipment is old.
Breakfast is OK, but unfortunately the fruit seems to be canned 🥫 expired and has a sour taste.
-”The front desk and breakfast service staff are not good, there is nothing to eat in the hotel restaurant and nearby gas station at night, a very remote place.
Overall, it was the best night we slept in Iceland. Thank you very much for the quiet and comfortable three-story bed."

Tumpy TumTumThere is no reception or service at this hotel. There is a restaurant downstairs, but it was closed during our stay. They simply send you a code for self check-in. Make sure to double-check your room, as they initially gave us a different room from the one we booked, though they changed it quickly after we contacted them.
One tip — visit Kirkjufellsfoss early in the morning. There is almost nobody there, and you can enjoy the whole mountain completely to yourself.

Everything was great about this place. The staff was very friendly and nice. The room was extremely clean with everything. The shower was wonderful with very hot water. The breakfast included was superb. And we got to see the Northern Lights.

sxycA little further out from Borgarnes but it’s a nice quiet place. It’s very cute and had everything needed during the stay. The breakfast had a large variety but pretty simple—still a good spread though no continuous restocks through breakfast time. There’s only stairs to get up to the second floor in the main building. The common area/lobby was very nice and cutely decorated. I greatly appreciated the various board games provided and we spent the night playing, laughing, and relaxing after a long day. Overall a clean place! Staff were very friendly and nice too!

No_return_dateVery helpful staff and the bed is really comfortable. The common areas are a bit dated and the bathroom is a problem in that the position of the sink makes it hard to use and the shower floods the bathroom unless you built a towel wall to contain the water to the shower but then you have sopping wet towels to deal with. The shower setup is the kind of thing you have to put up with in India and other 3rd world countries. This place is not close to any grocery stores so you have limited food options. I had the dinner buffet which was good but fairly expensive.

Guest UserThis is one of the bigger hotels in town, conveniently located close to the 'Xiao Zhu' supermarket. It's about a 10-minute walk to the pier. Breakfast is a simple continental spread. If you stay for two consecutive nights, they won't automatically clean your room; you likely need to request it.

Quiet and clean hotel with lots of facilities which allow guests to enjoy. We arrived at the hotel late (after 9pm) and the hotel restaurant was still able to serve us food that was way beyond our expectations - the waitress was extremely kind and helpful. We were also able to catch the northern lights which was a pleasant surprise considering the time of the year (August). Overall, we are very pleased with our stay here.

The location is excellent, and the surroundings are beautiful. The guesthouse has a kitchen and cooking utensils, which makes it very convenient for cooking. The room is spacious enough, and the window offers a great view of Church Mountain.

This place provides a hot tub that soothes achy muscles.
Family room is spacious for 3 pax, it would be too cramp for the 4 as the 4th pax needs to use sofa bed.
Mini kitchen is well stocked either microwave, proper oven and four pot stoves
Bathroom is spacious though the shower unit tends to overflow
