Point A Liberties in Dublin is a stylish, budget-friendly hotel with a fantastic location in the vibrant Liberties neighborhood, close to major attractions like Guinness Storehouse and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The rooms are compact but well-designed, offering modern comforts like comfortable beds, smart TVs, and efficient air conditioning. My friend and I stayed for two nights and found the location quite convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the city center. It was easy to reach several attractions nearby, which allowed us more time for sightseeing. Although it's a budget hostel, the service and cleanliness were excellent. The only drawback was that the room was a bit small, not big enough for two single beds, so we had to share a 4-foot bed, which we weren't used to. Overall, we both thought it was good.
Beautiful hotel right on the water. Excellent service from all staff. Bar/restaurant very convenient and food was great. Very near bus which was so helpful sin e we didn't have a car. Gorgeous beach for long walks right across the road. Grocery store within walking distance. Short bus ride to Malahide. Highly recommend.

Really happy with this hotel. Booked it last minute when I was late for my ferry and did not want to travel during the night.
The room was really clean and tidy. Receptionist Mauricio (?) was very pleasant and helpful. As I was not planning to stay in Dublin overnight, I had no toothbrush. I did not think that Travelodge can provide one, but there is no shame in asking. Hooray! I got a disposable dental kit, that really made my stay much more comfortable.
The hotel has a bar and a restaurant, it does look much more posh that an average travelodge. I wanted some ice for my drink at the room. Got a glass full of ice at the bar with no problem.
The only downside could be if you are a couple and travelling with 2 or more large suitcases. The room is on a smaller side.
Very happy with my last minute decision to stay at this hotel.
Really Good Hotel, the Room was Quite and big. The Recepcionsits were really Friendly. They Clean the Room everyday. The Location is Great, really close from the Train Station and the Phoenix Park.

Efficient and helpful staff at the checkin counter as well at the entrance desk. Concierge area is so beautifully decorated and looks warm and cozy.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is within walking distance to the bus stops of Dublin Express. Right in the city centre, walking distance to the river and plenty of food choices. The horse carriages often pass by the road in front of the hotel.
If I ever visit Dublin again, I will book this hotel again.

The triple room is a bit larger than the family room, and the location is great, right in the city center.

WWclllllThe room was a bit small, with no desk or chair besides the two single beds. However, the hotel environment was clean overall and it's located close to the city center. There's a 5 euro per day charge for luggage storage.
LLinhlovestotravelOh my gosh. If you can't sleep with big bright exit light, do not book it here. It is so bright that some of the others also lost some sleep. The hostel was nice enough to change bed for me once but it was still so horrible. I couldn't sleep at all.
GGuest UserVery good in city location with lots of different restaurants nearby . The hotel even checked us in an hour before checkin time, and offer a cheaper price to upgrade to B&B. The only defects is the bathroom extractor is not working and TV is a bit old fashioned and cannot watch YouTube etc.
MMick474747Fantastic place and location, outside of the city centre but close to the luas, quite and peaceful. Plus side is was cheap for the city of Dubkin. Didn't have any dinner but the breakfast was really good, a buffet style and plenty of it too. Staff were extremely nice too.
GGuest UserI stayed at Russell Court Hotel and overall had a decent experience. The hotel was very clean with everything well polished and tidy. As many reviews mentioned, there are clubs below so it is noisy at night. I had expected this beforehand and I am a heavy sleeper so it did not bother me too much. The hotel even provides earplugs which is a thoughtful touch.
The reception staff were polite although they did not have a spare comb when I asked. The lift is extremely small and only really fits two people at a time. This is something to keep in mind if you are travelling as a family or with lots of luggage.
The room itself was clean although the bathroom felt extremely outdated. It was functional but the taps were oddly reversed. The hot tap was cold and the cold tap was hot. On the positive side the room had UK plug sockets and USB ports which was very convenient.
Overall it was a clean and practical stay if you are prepared for the nightlife noise and do not mind some dated features.
GGuest UserStaff were friendly, very helpful, and overall wonderful. Breakfast was very good. I was traveling some for the day, so the single bed bedroom was perfectly sufficient. Have a room for one for a slightly laser rate than a a larger room is an excellent option. Room had all the amenities I needed. View was excellent. Only knock is the constant bells from Christchurch cathedral literally a few hundred meters away. Bells can be charming, but I’m fairly sure they were ringing for 5 full minutes, then 5 minutes of silence, then 5 more minutes of ringing. It got a bit much. But luckily it was only during the day and I did not spent all that much time in the room.

VVictoria KKThe bed is comfortable, the room is clean.
One thing I have to mentioned since my flight is delayed, the hotel not agree to change and cancel, it’s ok for me, I told them I will check in like very early in the morning, when I arrived the reception seems they don’t know and it takes me 10-15 mins for check in and I was with my child she is very tired at that moment.
They are so strict 11am for check out time if late they gonna charge how much like 20 euro. Omg I checked in at 8:30am in the morning and take a rest , 1 hr and half they need me to leave !!!!!!!! Compare to another hotel I think they must offer you a late check out for the guest won’t be that MEAN !!!!!!!!! I was SO disappointed and I won’t choose this hotel for my next trip in Dublin.
IIkanbereseLocation was really convenient. Walking distance from the tram and bus stations. Staff were friendly too and assisted with helping to book a cab to the airport. Check in and luggage storage were smooth as well. However was a little disappointed on the room size as it was partially cramped. Amenities like slippers, fridge, etc were not available as well. Overall, good convenient place in terms of location.
JJolly TkThe service was generally good, except for an issue we experienced with a staff member named Peter. Despite having a prepaid and pre-booked stay, we were threatened with cancellation because we requested to check in at 9:30 pm after receiving no response from the property. The automatic door was locked, there was no one at the check-in desk, and we had to ask another staff member to direct us to someone who could assist. Peter eventually came to help, stating he was doing so out of his busy schedule. I expressed that we would prefer to be checked in by the staff member assigned to that role, at which point he stated he would cancel our booking. When we asked on what grounds, he said he was the manager. It was an unusual and uncomfortable interaction, especially given that we were simply trying to check in to a stay we had already paid for.
