"The staff and the service was absolutely fantastic the cleanliness is superb 👌 though out the hotel 🏨 the food 🥘 is absolutely fantastic the service for the food is fantastic an it’s help yourself an all you can eat which is good 👍 they allowed us to checkin early aswell which was very kind of them to allow us to do that the rooms are clean an fresh an tidy an warm an the beds are so comfy had fantastic nights sleep 😴 had an amazing time 🕰️ the bar is good aswell an the entertainment is excellent aswell an all the staff are absolutely 💯 amazing 🤩 an was there when you needed them aswell an nothing was a trouble for them they helped us with our stay an was absolutely fantastic aswell an we will definitely will be returning aswell it’s absolutely fantastic an we loved 🥰 our stay from Nikki smith and Damo and also boss man the dog 🐶 thank you for a lovely 🥰 stay xxxx"

"The hotel was really lovely. Most of the time we were greeted with friendliness. It was very clean and tidy. We changed our room from a twin to a double and there were no issues with that. I was disappointed that the spa leisure facilities were closed as it was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Some of the decor is a bit dated but there are some lovely period features that enhance the hotels ambiance. A very good location for anyone arriving into Liverpool Lime Street."

"top location for a hotel, barring the sounds of nightlife nearby, which you CAN go to! staff were very friendly, the room i stayed in was absolutely clean, bed was comfy, shower was decent and had a great night! the only problems i had was with the lighting bedside - it kept flickering on and off rapidly after i turned the switch on, the windows were broken and unable to open and even though i didn't buy them you have to pay for water and tea for a kettle which isn't what most hotels do, but the scale of the issues had little impact for staying 1 night"

"Love Southport  been in the hotel a few times it was ok , didn’t eat in the hotel  we ate out , the room was ok bit outdated very creeky  floor boards .Bathroom radiator  was boiling hot cudnt turn it down made the room to hot to sleep ,apart from that was comfortable to sleep in "

"Fantastic location - very close to the docks and city centre with a train station next door (which we never heard!). Room was clean but only 1 towel each with no bathroom hand towel. Shelves had seen better days but were ok, TV was small/older but not a massive problem for us… air con was very good, quiet whilst keeping the room cool! Single beds were comfy but quite small - might be because I am used to a king size at home though! Shower was good, with nice shower gel/shampoo! Overall very happy with my stay for the price - recommended!"

The area had a pleasant suburban feel that made for peaceful evenings after busy days exploring. I stayed from **Saturday, August 9 to Monday, August 11, 2025** — a nice two-night weekend break. Check-in after 2 PM was straightforward and efficient, and the 11 AM check-out time gave me plenty of time to get ready without feeling rushed on my final morning. The property itself had a charming character (I could see the building facade in the booking thumbnail), and everything inside was well-maintained and comfortable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, making the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. What I particularly appreciated was the **all-inclusive pricing** — the £124.90 covered everything with no hidden charges or surprise fees at checkout. The Trip.com booking process was seamless, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence when booking. The ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features on the app came in handy when I needed to ask about local transport options. Being able to communicate directly through the app rather than making international calls was super convenient. Is it the most luxurious place I've ever stayed? No, but it doesn't claim to be. "All good on nye to see a band - the layout in the room wasn’t great and the music was very loud couldn’t have a conversation even though we were at the back . However the unexpected bonus of burger and chips was fantastic"

"Very pleasantly surprised, check in quick and fast, really friendly receptionist, had requested a side street view and that's what we got. Big twin room, lovely bathroom, spotless clean, plenty of pristine white towels, loafs of hot water, powerful shower. Plenty of drawers and a big wardrobe. Fan available in the wardrobe, tv and hairdryer. Yes hotel is a bit dated and needs a few quid spent on it but we enjoyed our stay and will.book again, location good, no complaints from us. We parked on car park £5 per day."
