"Late checkout until 3 PM (subject to availability): This was actually reliable and gave me plenty of time. Everything else was pretty good, including the environment and cleanliness. The only minor issue is that the soundproofing could be a bit better. Sometimes I'd hear the cleaning staff talking on their walkie-talkies outside my room while I was trying to sleep, which was a bit noisy."

"My overall stay had its ups and downs. Let's start with the positives: The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Fengqing Port Night Market, making it super convenient for getting around, finding food, and shopping. The room was spacious, and the 2.7-meter bed was much larger than expected, making for a very comfortable sleep. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, and the dining area offered fantastic views. The front desk and staff were also very attentive and helpful. However, the downsides were quite noticeable. As an older hotel, the hardware facilities are not well-maintained, and there's a clear quality gap compared to newer chain hotels. The room windows couldn't be opened and were blocked by an external frame, essentially offering no view. The in-room appliances and soft furnishings were old. The ceiling light by the door was constantly malfunctioning; it wouldn't turn on at all when I first checked in, and then it started flickering frequently and randomly at 4 AM, accompanied by loud noises, seriously disturbing my sleep. The bedding felt damp and sticky, giving an uncomfortable, clammy sensation. The air conditioning was also quite noisy, which made it hard to sleep at night. The self-service laundry facilities were equally disappointing; the washing machines were old, and the hotel didn't provide bottled laundry detergent, only bulk powder. Plus, the detergent dispenser had old, caked-on powder remnants, indicating poor cleaning and maintenance. In summary, the hotel shines in its location, food, and service, but the hardware facilities are in urgent need of renovation and upgrades."

"Our trip was fantastic; we were happy with the food, accommodation, and itinerary. It was rainy and cold when we arrived at the B&B, and it only cleared up on the day we left. But that didn't stop us from eating well, drinking well, and having fun. The landlady was incredibly kind, lending me a long umbrella and a trekking pole, and even helped me with my luggage and getting on the sightseeing bus when I left. The food at the B&B was great; we tried the spring water chicken and sour soup fish."

"First, the advantages: Firstly, the hotel has a great location, with a bus stop right outside and a five-minute walk to Silver Beach. Secondly, the front desk staff were warm and patient, especially the young man surnamed Pang, who escorted me to my room after check-in. He also provided a lot of assistance, such as travel tips, transportation, and dining advice. Additionally, there's a large open space in front of the hotel, large enough for long-distance running, roughly the size of several football fields. The hotel lobby is spacious, bright, beautiful, and comfortable. Now for the disadvantages: Firstly, I couldn't find the way to the hotel. I could see it from afar, but I had no idea how to get there! There were no signs, and I had to squeeze through bushes to get in! The directions given to me by the front desk involved walking through flowerpots, as shown in the photos below. Furthermore, the breakfast in the restaurant was poor, and the staff were rude. They were aggressive while working in the kitchen or coming out to order extra food; I thought there was a robbery going on. However, the day before, a young woman from Qinghai at the restaurant was incredibly kind to the guests. She patiently shared travel tips, helped us cook noodles, and was very talkative, leaving me with the best impression of my trip to Beihai. Finally, let me talk about the restroom facilities. The showerhead sputtered water haphazardly from the hose connection, and the water temperature was unstable, fluctuating between hot and cold. The faucet was just a thin sheet of metal, uncomfortable to handle. The sink drain had no plug, and the seams of the countertop were covered in black mold, which looked disgusting. Also, the elevator carpet was filthy, and the adhesive residue and stains on the elevator car were truly unsightly."

The interior design and furnishings were comfortable, offering great value for money. The surrounding environment is beautiful, and the soundproofing at night was effective. The location is convenient with easy access to transportation, close to a commercial district and a snack street, all within a few minutes' walk. It's also less than a 30-minute taxi ride from Guilin North/Guilin West Station. I would definitely return if I have the chance."

"Yangshuo has beautiful scenery. We rented an electric scooter from the hotel and rode around, which was lovely. The front desk staff were excellent; they didn't push any specific attractions but thoughtfully advised us on the best sections for a bamboo raft ride on the Yulong River. You can definitely ask them for recommendations. Highly recommended!"
