"Beautiful view from the room’s balcony. We looked straight onto the Shili Gallery and the river below. After adding the Wechat of the hotel we could communicate in both languages easily. They also offer sightseeing activities and can rent you electrical scooters. We have enjoyed our stay at this hotel and recommend this to others as well."

"This hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering a view of a small terraced field from the room. While it doesn't offer the breathtaking, expansive terrace views you'd get from a mountaintop, I think the location is quite good. It's not far from Observation Deck No. 1, just a 10-minute walk, so there's no need to worry about steep climbs if you're not a confident driver. The owner and their family are very welcoming; they called to guide us to free parking even before we arrived, and after we settled in, they took us to see the terraced field light show. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with two spacious tatami beds. We arrived late (after 7 PM), so we missed out on the rice paddy fishing. The kids only got to play briefly in the hotel's outdoor pool, which had very clean water but was a bit chilly at night, so they couldn't stay in long. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the hotel!"

"Almost missed this place because it was not in the ranking list. It is a hidden gem. To me what make this place stands out compared with the many highly rated lodging in the vicinity is its design (the unit I booked has a floor to ceiling window, raised platform w cushion seat and bean bag to chill and have tea, no silly bath tub at window). The view is to die for, exactly same as the photo displayed in trip.com (I thot the photo was enhanced but turned out it is exactly the same on site. Even the photo I took looks surreal. The rice terrace looks so near and the cascading stepped layers look so distinct) and the price is less and even half of the other listing. Definitely value for money. Only downside is the shower water pressure is a bit low and hot water needed a while and smart WC not calibrated well w zesty sensor at work.
Additional plus point, sunrise scene from your room if the clouds is in your favour. Good local home cooked food and attentive service from owner and family. Very near and easy stroll to lookout 1 and but tough yet short trail to lookout 2."

Everything else was pretty good, including the environment and cleanliness. The only minor issue is that the soundproofing could be a bit better. Sometimes I'd hear the cleaning staff talking on their walkie-talkies outside my room while I was trying to sleep, which was a bit noisy."

"The hotel is a simple Zen style as a whole, and the faint tea fragrance in the lobby is very comfortable. The room was spacious and bright, the cleaning was very clean, there was no sanitary corner, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the mattress was moderately soft and hard, and the night was very stable. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the hot water comes out quickly, and the toiletries are complete. The check-in and check-out at the front desk are efficient and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is rich in variety, Chinese pasta, porridge and fruit. There is also a self-service laundry room, which is particularly convenient for business trips and full of cost-effectiveness. "The facilities are excellent. The hairdryer is from Laifen, and the room has everything you could need. The cleanliness was great upon check-in; it was spotless. The staff will proactively ask if you'd like your room cleaned, and they are very friendly. The environment is superb. The large window in the room on the 6th floor offers a beautiful view, including the river. The room doors are solid wood and provide good sound insulation. It seems there are only four rooms on the 6th floor, and the decor is lovely with solid wood furniture. The staff are all wonderful. They even warned me that there would be street performers (who were incredibly tasteful and sang beautifully) outside in the evening, which I unfortunately didn't get to hear. There's also a bar on the top floor, though it wasn't open when I went up during the day. The sightseeing experience from the top floor is truly excellent, offering even more views. There's also a cat named 'Manfang' (Full House) there, who is super cute and not afraid of people. I'll add photos in a couple of days; they are currently on my camera."

Waking up and opening the window to a lush green landscape was so relaxing and refreshing. The front desk offers electric bike rentals that are in excellent condition with plenty of battery life, and at a great price. It was super convenient for riding to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, allowing us to enjoy the scenery with the wind in our hair – so free and enjoyable. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making getting around incredibly easy. The value for money is unbeatable; choosing this place for your trip to Yangshuo is definitely the right call!

Guest UserI came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!

Robert0_0One of the hotels with the best of of the famous rice terraces. We booked the round bed room and the bath and balcony view were amazing. As far as I checked, all rooms in this hotel face the same direction ans all have a great view. I think the higher you are, the better. However compared to many other hotels, all rooms here beat anything else .
Though the room looks a bit dated and the bed was stiff (spring bed), the shower, bath and balcony was great!
We were also able to eat and drink breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. We had some miscommunication about an allergy, and tried to order without soyasaus. However twice we received the food with soyasaus after they mentioned we could order without. we sadly couldn't eat what we ordered, but we enjoyed what we could it.
Staff was very friendly.

The location is excellent, very close to the 20-yuan Lijiang River scenic pier. The environment is clean and tidy, and the room is very spacious. The service attitude is superb. I booked for two nights and was supposed to check out by 12 PM on the third day. However, on the second night, my child was hit by a car and transferred to Guilin Hospital. It wasn't until the evening of the third day that my husband had time to go check out and pack our luggage. The owner kept the room for us and didn't rush us to check out at all. The owner is a truly compassionate person; they repeatedly inquired about my child's condition, didn't charge us for the late checkout, and even gave my child a red envelope. For this booking, the owner truly went above and beyond, practically losing money. Such big-hearted owners are truly rare. I wish the owner a prosperous business and abundant wealth. Thank you for your immense kindness.

The room condition was excellent, and the view was absolutely stunning. We could take amazing photos right from our room.
The owner was very thoughtful and paid great attention to detail. He's also a fantastic photographer; the pictures he took of our family of four were beautiful.
All our meals were at the hotel. The breakfast rice noodle set was very flavorful, and the lunch and dinner dishes were delicious, offering both home-style and local flavors.
Longji Terraces, we'll be back!

Guest UserI chose the Hanting Hotel at Elephant Trunk Hill for my trip to Guilin, and the location was incredibly convenient! I could walk to Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and it was also close to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes and the Sun and Moon Pagodas. Strolling around at night enjoying the scenery was really pleasant.
The room was Hanting standard, as expected – clean and tidy with comfortable bedding and good soundproofing. After a full day of sightseeing, I slept soundly. The front desk lady was exceptionally friendly and efficient with check-in. She even proactively recommended nearby attractions and local food, which was a very thoughtful touch!

The room was fantastic with a superb view and a large bathtub. The bedding was comfortable, and my family all commented that the amenities provided were excellent, showing that the owner really put thought into making guests feel at home. The actual stay at the guesthouse was even better than the official photos, which was a pleasant surprise. We stayed for two nights, and the kids had a blast while the adults slept incredibly well. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel was a good place to stay. They originally put us in a room that had a strong smell of cigarettes. I immediately asked them to move and they were great and showed me 3 other rooms and let me choose the one i wanted.
The location is good. It was on a street with many restaurants but also far enough away from the busy West street to allow us to sleep well.
Anything we asked of the staff was answered immediately. We rented a bike from them for 30, then when we asked for a bike with a longer range, they took us next door to get one for 50.

Traveling with my little one, we were so lucky to stay at this B&B—I absolutely have to give it a huge thumbs-up!
First off, the environment is absolutely stunning. As soon as we walked in, we were captivated by the courtyard. The flowers and plants are meticulously trimmed yet maintain a natural, wild charm. After the rain, the air was incredibly fresh, like it had been washed clean. Sitting in the yard with a cup of tea, time just seemed to slow down. The rooms also have a lovely natural wood style, cozy yet sophisticated, exactly like the pictures.
Then there's the cleanliness – as a germaphobe, I was thoroughly impressed. The room was spotless, the floors were so clean you could walk barefoot, the bedding smelled of sunshine, and the bathroom was free of any water stains or odors. Traveling with a baby, I'm extra sensitive to cleanliness, and this place put my mind completely at ease.
Most importantly, the family-friendly service is incredibly thoughtful! The owner clearly understands what kids need. They had already prepared children's toothbrushes and slippers for us in advance, and even thoughtfully provided a bed rail, which made us feel much more secure at night. The common area had picture books and building blocks, and my baby had a blast, too busy playing to fuss. They even prepared soft, sticky porridge and small steamed buns specifically for my child's breakfast.

Guest UserFirst things first, the service at this hotel was really good. They helped us to plan our routes and rent some scooters. The food was also very good. They offer Chinese and western dishes at their own restaurant (luna) and as a European I have to admit that the quality of the western cuisine surprised me. The decor of the whole place feels warm and welcoming.
Sadly, the moon hill park is closed right now. The other attractions are a bit further away but easily reachable by scooter.
