"I cannot recommend this accommodation enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spotless presentation and cozy atmosphere. "The hotel is conveniently located on a small street next to City Hall, just a five-minute walk to the tram station. It's a building constructed in 1880, which once served as the Victoria Coffee Palace. On the mezzanine floor, there are some 19th-century antique items displayed in two cabinets. The triple room isn't huge, but it was sufficient for two adults and one child. The beds have wheels and can be moved around, and the nightstands are also movable, allowing you to combine them into one large and one small bed, creating space for luggage. The room was very clean, though the sliding door in the shower had a minor issue. Slippers and drinking water are not provided in the room, but you can get water from the dispenser on the mezzanine floor, which is convenient enough. There was a strange noise from the air conditioning at night, and someone came to fix it after we reported it. We stayed for three days, and the breakfast didn't change at all, offering both English and Chinese options, as shown in the picture. Overall, it was decent, but those with high expectations for breakfast should consider other options."

"This hotel was an absolutely wonderful place to stay during our trip. The location is incredibly convenient for getting around the city. It is situated just a short walk away from the nearest tram station. From the moment we walked in, the overall cleanliness was truly impressive. Our room was completely spotless and meticulously maintained every single day. Furthermore, the hotel staff provided excellent service from check-in to check-out. Every employee we interacted with was genuinely welcoming, polite, and eager to help. We also greatly appreciated the ability to leave our luggage safely at the reception. This convenient luggage storage gave us the freedom to explore without carrying heavy bags on our last day. Finally, the beautiful view from our window made the entire experience absolutely perfect."

"Only positive impressions remained. Cozy and convenient location. An excellent combination of bedrooms with balconies and common areas. The interior and exterior ambiance are a perfect 10 out of 10. I especially liked the kitchen, equipped with everything necessary. Perhaps the only thing I'd suggest adding is a BBQ area."

"Facilities: This hotel is super close to the airport, about a ten-minute walk. Once you exit the airport, just keep walking left, and you'll see plenty of clear Ibis signs along the way. The room setup is standard, with a comfy bed and a small bathroom that includes shower gel and towels. Cleanliness: Generally quite clean, except for having to swat one mosquito 🤣. It's best to keep the window closed if your room faces the road. Service: Excellent! I stored my luggage at the hotel first, then took my friend's belongings to Sydney, and only picked up mine two days later. The front desk was very helpful and retrieved my luggage based on the storage receipt. As a one-night stopover before catching an early morning flight, this place is a great choice."

"There was a communication breakdown from Devine escape. The hotel is supposed to send me an sms prior to my check-in, however despite my email, and calls, I did not receive any updates from them. Only upon arrival at the hotel, we can’t find any ways to call the receptionist. Luckily, the caretaker saw us and help us with the check in process. However, there was no apology from the hotel. So that was a bit disappointing."

"This hotel is great for budget-conscious families. First off, it's quite affordable and comes fully equipped, except for disposable toothbrushes, slippers, and combs. You can get free still water on the second floor, so once you buy a large bottle and have a kettle, you don't need to buy more. Secondly, it's within walking distance of many city walk attractions, saving you a considerable amount on transportation, and the pickup point for day tours is also very close. Lunch service isn't really available, and there was one lady who only knew one Chinese word, but all the staff were patient and polite and absolutely capable of helping guests with their problems. Lastly, the accommodation environment is very quiet, and the night view from the window is excellent. There are surprising graffiti art pieces on the small street next door. Overall, the safety is high, which is why we didn't hesitate to re-book this hotel during our time in Australia. Finally, a small suggestion: there were many fingerprints on the hotel room doors, indicating some blind spots in cleaning that need improvement. The breakfast selection was too limited; it would be great to have more variety. Overall, it's already excellent and worth recommending!"

"Room was big enough for my family of 3, Clean, toiletries provided is enough. 2 big beds and comfortable. Big TV, room at ground level, balcony can open and walk out to car park. Room doesn’t much have programme and need guests to sign in acct, which is not friendly to customers. Hotel location infront of sea, walking to distance to town centre just behind the hotel."

"Good location for watching penguins parade in the evening. Only taking 20mins drive to holiday park after finishing penguins parade show. Very nice staff. Clean and private cabin. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful souls 🤍 I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport and wanted to share my experience for anyone travelling in or out of Melbourne. We have stayed here a number of times, the first time was because we had flight delays and didn't want to head home to return the following day. It made sense and ever since then we have used it as our little night before we go on the next adventure stop over. So if you are like me, and you’re looking for something close, easy, and stress-free before a flight… this place really delivers. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the airport, and the shuttle service makes everything feel seamless especially when you’re travelling early morning or arriving late. That alone takes so much pressure off. And if you are like me and need to have a change of suit case for clothing it makes a great base between flights and countries. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Not overly luxurious, but they have everything you need for a short stay. It feels more like a practical stopover than a holiday destination and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be. What I appreciated most was the ease of everything… No overwhelm, no complications — just a place to land, reset, and move on with your journey. If I had to describe it energetically… it feels like a “pause point” between destinations. A couple of things to note: It’s more of a classic, older-style hotel, not modern luxury but its a great base and we leave our car there for convince. Dining options can be limited depending on timing, but we ate next door a Sheesh and plan to go there again. You may hear a little airport noise (as expected) But overall, for value, convenience, and simplicity, it does exactly what it promises. We will definitely stay again when I need a smooth airport stopover, like in September with a group of travelers heading on.a cruise. The place suits business, family, couples, solo and groups.
