"Beautiful souls 🤍 I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport and wanted to share my experience for anyone travelling in or out of Melbourne. We have stayed here a number of times, the first time was because we had flight delays and didn't want to head home to return the following day. It made sense and ever since then we have used it as our little night before we go on the next adventure stop over. So if you are like me, and you’re looking for something close, easy, and stress-free before a flight… this place really delivers. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the airport, and the shuttle service makes everything feel seamless especially when you’re travelling early morning or arriving late. That alone takes so much pressure off. And if you are like me and need to have a change of suit case for clothing it makes a great base between flights and countries. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Not overly luxurious, but they have everything you need for a short stay. It feels more like a practical stopover than a holiday destination and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be. What I appreciated most was the ease of everything… No overwhelm, no complications — just a place to land, reset, and move on with your journey. If I had to describe it energetically… it feels like a “pause point” between destinations. A couple of things to note: It’s more of a classic, older-style hotel, not modern luxury but its a great base and we leave our car there for convince. Dining options can be limited depending on timing, but we ate next door a Sheesh and plan to go there again. You may hear a little airport noise (as expected) But overall, for value, convenience, and simplicity, it does exactly what it promises. We will definitely stay again when I need a smooth airport stopover, like in September with a group of travelers heading on.a cruise. The place suits business, family, couples, solo and groups. "I cannot recommend this accommodation enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spotless presentation and cozy atmosphere. The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything but still peaceful at night. Our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even providing thoughtful local tips. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after long days of exploring. If you are looking for a hassle-free, relaxing, and wonderful place to stay, look no further. We are already planning our return visit. Thank you for a memorable trip!"

"We booked here for an overnight interconnecting flight. We also managed to contact the hotel staff who kindly arranged for pick up services at midnight. Hotel is clean, slightly dated but good enough!"

"Location: easy 3-6 min walk to Southern Cross station and the skybus station which made reaching the hotel from melbourne airport extremely convenient (~40 mins). It's close to many cozy and prolific cafés for breakfast/brunch, lunch. Ease of access to gift shops, electronics, and post boxes as well. Amenities: Gym is available. Laundry with washers and dryers are also available but prepare coins. Security: Staffed during the day, and the automatic doors in the main hotel entrance could only be opened with keycards at night. Good safety. Service: Hospitable staff. Had issues with my room and they were happy to assist. Room: I booked the single room. Quaint and tiny. Room's very dark and quiet at night. Great sleep. Bathroom is equipped with heat lamps and exhaust fans which made super comfortable for a winter stay. Didn't use the AC much but I tried it out just to see that it worked. Runs well even though it's a bit noisy if you're sleeping. Towels and sheets mostly clean. I noticed some stains on the bedding once but otherwise good."

"I was a little apprehensive when booking the room, but after seeing the mountain viewpoint, the waterfall, kangaroos, parrots, emus on the grassland, and the Milky Way at night! Chatting with the local fishermen about fishing (who often come back empty-handed, haha), and watching the kangaroos fighting on the opposite grassland, it was all worth it! The room was a bit old, but cleanliness was still no problem! Some small insects were inevitable, given that we were in the mountains; we sprayed mosquito repellent on the curtains and the back door, which mostly solved the problem. The receptionist was my type—straightforward and frank, with a bit of a Beijing gentleman's feel to him."

"Very lovely and kind staff! The interior, like the e shower could be upgraded because it’s for tall people above 175cm a bit difficult to take a proper shower. The rest is from the 80s But overall the rooms are very clean. Would come again."

"Facilities: This hotel is super close to the airport, about a ten-minute walk. Once you exit the airport, just keep walking left, and you'll see plenty of clear Ibis signs along the way. The room setup is standard, with a comfy bed and a small bathroom that includes shower gel and towels. Cleanliness: Generally quite clean, except for having to swat one mosquito 🤣. It's best to keep the window closed if your room faces the road. Service: Excellent! I stored my luggage at the hotel first, then took my friend's belongings to Sydney, and only picked up mine two days later. The front desk was very helpful and retrieved my luggage based on the storage receipt. As a one-night stopover before catching an early morning flight, this place is a great choice."

"Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!"

"Warm welcome by receptionist. Awesome service. Quality and service at par excellence. Very much near to train stations. The Best Western was perfectly fine for my one-night business trip to Melbourne—clean enough and very well-located. My only real complaint is that basic amenities were missing; there was no toothpaste or bottled water in the room. It didn't ruin my stay, but adding these simple comforts would go a long way for short-stay guests."
