"Beautiful souls 🤍 I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport and wanted to share my experience for anyone travelling in or out of Melbourne. We have stayed here a number of times, the first time was because we had flight delays and didn't want to head home to return the following day. It made sense and ever since then we have used it as our little night before we go on the next adventure stop over. So if you are like me, and you’re looking for something close, easy, and stress-free before a flight… this place really delivers. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the airport, and the shuttle service makes everything feel seamless especially when you’re travelling early morning or arriving late. That alone takes so much pressure off. And if you are like me and need to have a change of suit case for clothing it makes a great base between flights and countries. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Not overly luxurious, but they have everything you need for a short stay. It feels more like a practical stopover than a holiday destination and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be. What I appreciated most was the ease of everything… No overwhelm, no complications — just a place to land, reset, and move on with your journey. If I had to describe it energetically… it feels like a “pause point” between destinations. A couple of things to note: It’s more of a classic, older-style hotel, not modern luxury but its a great base and we leave our car there for convince. Dining options can be limited depending on timing, but we ate next door a Sheesh and plan to go there again. You may hear a little airport noise (as expected) But overall, for value, convenience, and simplicity, it does exactly what it promises. We will definitely stay again when I need a smooth airport stopover, like in September with a group of travelers heading on.a cruise. The place suits business, family, couples, solo and groups. "Excellent location, right by the beach and on the crossroads of Trumans Road. Check-in was quick and easy, everything was explained, and you can even self-check-in without staff assistance, as all instructions are in the booking. The room was clean and cozy, with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, and cutlery. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel provides a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off hotel guests from and to the Melbourne airport. This service is very convenient for hotel guests, especially for those to have morning flights!"

"Overall, not a bad hotel. The location is very convenient; all major city attractions are within walking distance. Everything is clean, the reception/foyer areas are pleasant, and there's a cozy lounge in front of the cafe entrance where you can read a book or just pass the time if housekeeping is cleaning your room. The housekeepers are Chinese women, and there were no complaints about the cleaning. It was nice that they changed the bed linen every 2-3 days without us having to ask. The room is certainly very small, but it's perfectly fine for one person, especially if you're there for sightseeing rather than spending time in the room. The miniature window overlooks a wall with AC units and oddly only opened to a 15-centimeter gap at the bottom. Holes in the window screen (mine had a torn screen on this small window) would be a problem in the summer, but no bugs will fly in during a winter month. The room renovation is relatively recent. There's a nice backlight above the headboard. The duvet covers are the same as in Africa, by the way – two regular sheets on either side of the duvet. In the shower, it's inconvenient that there's no handheld showerhead, only an overhead rain shower. There are no toothbrushes with paste or hair conditioner, so keep that in mind. What is provided: shower gel, hairdryer, ironing board with iron, wall-mounted air conditioner, TV, refrigerator, kettle, and everything works perfectly. Bottled water isn't provided because there's no point: the water in Australia is very clean, and everyone drinks tap water. Regarding breakfast: in the 16 days I spent at this hotel, the menu never changed. What you see in my photos here is what was in the cafe every day, the same items in the same spots. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help."

"I was a little apprehensive when booking the room, but after seeing the mountain viewpoint, the waterfall, kangaroos, parrots, emus on the grassland, and the Milky Way at night! Chatting with the local fishermen about fishing (who often come back empty-handed, haha), and watching the kangaroos fighting on the opposite grassland, it was all worth it! The room was a bit old, but cleanliness was still no problem! Some small insects were inevitable, given that we were in the mountains; we sprayed mosquito repellent on the curtains and the back door, which mostly solved the problem. The receptionist was my type—straightforward and frank, with a bit of a Beijing gentleman's feel to him."

"Facilities: This hotel is super close to the airport, about a ten-minute walk. Once you exit the airport, just keep walking left, and you'll see plenty of clear Ibis signs along the way. The room setup is standard, with a comfy bed and a small bathroom that includes shower gel and towels. Cleanliness: Generally quite clean, except for having to swat one mosquito 🤣. It's best to keep the window closed if your room faces the road. Service: Excellent! I stored my luggage at the hotel first, then took my friend's belongings to Sydney, and only picked up mine two days later. The front desk was very helpful and retrieved my luggage based on the storage receipt. As a one-night stopover before catching an early morning flight, this place is a great choice."

"Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!"

"Warm welcome by receptionist. Awesome service. Quality and service at par excellence. Very much near to train stations. The Best Western was perfectly fine for my one-night business trip to Melbourne—clean enough and very well-located. My only real complaint is that basic amenities were missing; there was no toothpaste or bottled water in the room. It didn't ruin my stay, but adding these simple comforts would go a long way for short-stay guests."
