Things to do in Zayu

The following is an introduction to the Bingchacha Highway: The Bingchacha Highway refers to the Bingchacha section of the new Yunnan-Tibet Highway, also known as the Bingchacha Road. It starts from Bingzhongluo Township in Gongshan County, Yunnan Province, passes through Chawalong Township in Chayu County, Tibet, and finally reaches Chayu County, with a total length of approximately 270 kilometers. It's unbelievably beautiful, but the roads are a bit difficult to drive on.

The Cloud Sky Road leading to Jiaying Village, known as the "Back Garden of Meili", is a top-level off-road route; it features cloud sea fairyland, dense fog for getting lost, rainstorms washing the road, mountain rainbows, washboards, shell craters, and sharp knife rocks. It quickly increases the altitude to 2,700 meters, and walks on cliff roads and ridges. It takes 7 hours to go back and forth for 100 kilometers. It is thrilling and can be called the warrior's road, the ultimate self-driving experience.

At the intersection of Shangyao Mountain and Gaotang Lake in Huainan, Anhui, lies the birthplace of the ancient Shouzhou Kiln, which is Shangyao Town, named after the "ancient porcelain". Standing on Shangyao Mountain, you can still see the white sails of wooden boats that transported Shouzhou Kiln porcelain thousands of years ago; standing by Gaotang Lake, the ancient battlefield with loud drums and horns and rain of arrows is still in front of you; next to the ancient Shouzhou Kiln site, a large number of unearthed cultural relics tell the rise and fall of Shangyao Town.

这次入住真的很满意！房间里有制氧机和加湿器，对高反太友好了，简直是高原旅行的得力助手。最惊喜的是第一次不用早起去景区抢位置，躺在床上就看到了日照金山，太幸福了！吃早餐的时候也能继续欣赏雪山，风景真的绝了。晚餐也很好吃，酥油炒牦牛肉和清炒松茸都值得推荐。整体体验超出预期，下次来还会选择这里！

The boardwalk is gentle and easy to walk on, perfect for those who aren't in a rush. The air is clean, and the squirrels, meadows, and fir forests create a truly relaxing atmosphere. The autumn colors in the scenic area aren't quite at their peak yet, but the shuttle bus wait time is short, making for a comfortable experience.

Beautiful temple complex, but unfortunately not a lot of information about the history and significance of each temple in English. I booked a ticket with a “round trip ticket” but it felt like the bus was included for all tickets because no one checked after entering the complex. Note: you’re not allowed to take photos inside any of the buildings, which makes a lot of sense but just bear in mind.

November 3rd is already the off-season. Driving to the parking lot indicated by the navigation, I was directed to parking lot number 2 because I was from out of town. Parking lot number 2 had many empty spaces, but the staff then told me to go to another parking lot. I immediately argued with them, and they reluctantly let me in. They really are taking advantage of every little thing. Overall, it was a good experience. The scenic area was well-organized, the signage was clear, and the Tibetan Buddhist temple was magnificent. Worth a visit.
