Things to do in Xingan

There were no assigned seats, so you could sit anywhere. We spent most of our time on the third deck enjoying the view and taking photos. Although it was very hot outside, there was a breeze on both sides of the deck, so it wasn't too bad. There were karaoke machines and vendors selling snacks and drinks on both the second and third decks. The air conditioning on the second deck was very strong. We arrived at the pier half an hour early, and there was already a queue.

Wangxian Valley is like a fairyland, with ancient cliffside buildings and cascading waterfalls. The night view is stunning, with beautiful scenery at every turn, making it a must-visit destination. The natural wonders, especially the cliffside stilted buildings, are breathtaking. At night, the lights illuminate the area, creating a harmonious blend of mountains, water, and ancient architecture, resulting in a truly immersive atmosphere.

Climbing to the top of Tengwang Pavilion and overlooking the Gan River, one is struck by its magnificent grandeur. Its upturned eaves and corners exude a timeless charm. The saying "The setting sun and the lone wild goose fly together" is truly fitting; as the premier pavilion in Jiangnan, this trip was well worth it!

There's no excessive commercialization, and the bamboo raft boatmen are quite interesting and don't charge extra. A special shout-out to the "One Line Sky"! Having climbed countless "One Line Skys" across the country, only this one is truly authentic!! A place where you can calmly focus on the scenery, a truly peaceful and beautiful landscape.

Perhaps it's because you can't see anything on a rainy day, so I don't dare to say much about the scenery. You can usually see colorful birds in this season, but there's nothing happening now. However, I feel that the scenic area's management is still a bit lacking.

The scenery of Sanqing Mountain is beautiful. Take photos at Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain, Oriental Goddess, Penguin Offering Peaches, Five Finger Peak, and One Line Sky. Climb to the top and marvel at the wonders of nature!

Taoyangli is the heart of Jingdezhen's porcelain culture, home to the ruins of the Ming and Qing imperial kilns. The red-brick arched kiln building of the Imperial Kiln Museum is itself a work of art. Ancient alleys, old kilns, and remnants of porcelain from the ruins intertwine, blending the old and the new. During the day, visitors can admire the cultural relics and historical sites, while the atmosphere is superb when the lights are on in the evening. There are also many small ceramic shops in the alleys, making it well worth a visit when in Jingdezhen.

A two-day, one-night leisurely tour of Wunüzhou is a man-made cultural and tourism scenic area, with its nighttime views far surpassing its daytime attractions. During the day, you can enjoy various free small-scale performances and the Hui-style garden architecture. In the evening, the highlights are the light shows, iron flower displays, and the live-action performance "Encounter Wuyuan." The scenic area boasts comprehensive facilities, with numerous restaurants and guesthouses to choose from. Staying in a guesthouse along the Xingjiang River in Wuyuan offers a distant view of the illuminated Baoyu Pagoda, making it much easier to plan your trip. During holidays, it gets very crowded, so it's advisable to arrive early to secure a spot for popular performances.

During the National Day holiday, the crowds were immense. Our tour guide, Xiao Xiang, led us along the way, providing lively and engaging explanations that saved us from taking unnecessary detours and greatly improved efficiency. He also clearly outlined the key locations.

The poetic pavilions along the Xiang River offer expansive views of the river from their heights. The exhibits inside tell the story of Du Fu's time in Hunan, and the night view is particularly stunning. It's worth stopping by to experience this cultural heritage of Hunan when visiting Changsha.
