Benrat Palace was built by Duke Carl Theodore in 1755-1769. It covers an area of more than 60 hectares and is the most beautiful Rococo building in Europe. There is a small lake in front of the palace. The pink palace is reflected on the mirror-like lake. Swans are leisurely swimming in the lake. Standing by the lake and looking up, they seem to be in a painting. Different from the Chinese palace garden design, the palace buildings actually only take up a small part of the huge area, and the rest are French gardens - manicured woods, towering white statues, long water channels.Dusseldorf · 22.2km from Wuppertal

Cologne Cathedral is located in the center of Cologne, on the banks of the Rhine River. It is a landmark building in Cologne. The 157-meter-high bell tower makes it the second tallest church in Germany, the third tallest in the world, and the third largest Gothic church in the world. The church was built in the middle of the 13th century. After more than 600 years, it was only announced to be completed in 1880. The church is still being repaired. The church is considered a good combination of all medieval Gothic architectural and decorative elements and is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.Cologne · 37.5km from Wuppertal

Rheinuferpromenade is a waterfront promenade with a total length of approx. 1.5 km. In the 1990s, the road along this shoreline was moved into an underground tunnel, and the embankment was redesigned as a pedestrian space, becoming a waterfront destination shared by locals and visitors alike. The promenade is divided into two levels: the upper level is a tree-lined path flanked by rows of plane trees, with benches along the way. From the grand steps at Burgplatz or beside the old Rhine water gauge, you can descend to the lower embankment at water level, where the boat docks are located. On a clear day, sitting by the railing and looking out, you can enjoy views of the opposite bank, the iron bridge across the river, and passing boats. Watching the sunset while feeling the river breeze in the evening is a signature experience. Extending along the river, it passes by the City Hall and ends at the State Parliament building, the Rhine Tower, and the Media Harbour, connecting a beautiful waterfront panorama from the historic district to the modern harbor area.Dusseldorf · 26.7km from Wuppertal

Large green area and pink rococo palace. When we are there at least 3 wedding photos work was there. The large landscape and well maintained trees and flowers creates a good scene for photos and also the historic building, artificial water and sculptures keeps the feeling of place garden.

The Cologne Cathedral is a jaw-dropping masterpiece of Gothic architecture. The moment you step out of the central train station, its colossal twin spires tower over you-the sheer scale of it is completely overwhelming and beautiful.Inside, the experience is just as incredible. The massive vaulted ceilings, the stunning, intricate stained-glass windows, and the historic Shrine of the Three Kings are unforgettable. For an extra adventure, you can climb the hundreds of steps up the South Tower for a spectacular panoramic view of Cologne and the Rhine River. It is an absolute must-visit landmark that easily deserves a perfect rating!

Our home is right on the banks of the Rhine in Düsseldorf, so we come to this park and walk along the river every day. The banks of the Rhine are both beautiful and useful. There are various activities here every Sunday, sometimes food gatherings, sometimes antique car exhibitions, which are quite fun.

The environment of this restaurant is so artistic. They have a wide variety of dishes with good presentation, and the combination of vegetables and meat is very balanced. It is suitable for dining with friends.
