Things to do in Verona

The arena might not be as famous as the Colosseo but it is actually a really stunning piece of architecture! In fact is was build even before the colosseo and it also has been place for traditional games and shows in ancient times. For sure it is worth a tour when visiting the beautiful city of Verona. the ticket is 10 euro and it is free on the first Sunday of every month.tip: if you can choose the date of your visit, make sure you don't go when there are shows scheduled for the night (arena is also a theathre now) because they will cover the whole court with stage and seats and you will stay pay full ticket price.

The first attraction I visited in Verona was the old castle museum, which was preserved from the original castle. The place is quite large and it takes about two hours to walk around. Next door is the old town of Verona, and on the other side is a beautiful river.

"Piazza delle Herbe", also known as "Piazza del Comfrey", sounds sweet. This is one of the most lively places in the old town of Verona. It was used for citizen arbitration and political gatherings in Roman times. Today, it is a life market with many tourists during the day and a souvenir market with bright lights at night. Most of the buildings around the square are from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. This stone bridge is very unique. You will pass by it on the way to the castle. It is also a beautiful scenery from a distance. There will also be street artists performing on the stone bridge, as well as people riding bicycles.

Romeo's former residence is a very small house. The entire residence is a very ordinary building on the block. Here you can learn about the decoration of Romeo's life at that time. It is basically one of the landscapes that literature lovers check in. It is not too big.
