Drvengrad

Drvengrad is located near Mokra Gora in the Zlatibor region of western Serbia and is a traditional wooden village built by director Emir Kusturica for the filming of "Life Is a Miracle." The village's buildings are almost entirely constructed of wood, and everything from the houses and churches to the street facilities reflects a rich Balkan folk style. The streets in the village are named after figures admired by Kusturica—names such as Nikola Tesla, Fellini, Bergman, and Maradona appear on street signs, while the main street is named after Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić. In the center of the village stands the Saint Sava Orthodox Church, surrounded by facilities such as a cinema named after Stanley Kubrick, the Ivo Andrić Library, an art gallery, a sports hall, restaurants, and a cake shop. The village is built into the mountainside and is surrounded by open fields and rolling mountains. The wooden architecture blends seamlessly with the natural environment, while the sculptures and flowers scattered throughout add a fairytale-like atmosphere.Mokra Gora · 27.7km from Uzice

Gold Gondola Zlatibor is a high-altitude sightseeing cable car in the Zlatibor mountain region. It starts in the town center, crosses over Ribnica Lake, and ends at the summit of Tornik at an altitude of 1,496 m. The entire line is approx. 9 km long, making it one of the longest panoramic cable car lines in the world. When riding in the cable car, you can see rolling hills, meadows, dense pine forests, and villages scattered across the mountains below. The scenery changes with the seasons: lush green in summer, colorful foliage in fall, and a ski resort on the mountain in winter. "Zlatibor" means "golden pine" in Serbian. As the cable car slowly climbs, you can get a close look at this mountain area covered in golden pine forests from the air. A highlight along the way is the Ribnica Lake station. You can get off here to walk along the lake and take photos, then board a subsequent cable car to continue upward. Upon arriving at Tornik, there is a viewing platform near the summit where you can overlook the entire mountain area and the town below.Zlatibor · 18.8km from Uzice

Drina River Small House

Drina River Small House is a scenic view on theDrina in Serbia: a small red-roofed wooden cabin standing on a rock in the middle of the river, surrounded by emerald waters and green mountains on both banks. It is located on the Drina near Bajina Basta, at the foot of Tara, where this section of the river serves as the border between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Initially, it was built by a few local young people who often rested on the rock in the river, using materials found on-site. Over the following decades, the cabin was swept away by rising floodwaters multiple times, only to be retrieved and rebuilt again and again. This persistence in being rebuilt after repeated destruction has become its most moving quality. In August 2012, a photo featuring the cabin was selected as a National Geographic Photo of the Month, and it has since become famous, becoming one of the most iconic sights in Serbia. When visiting, most tourists choose to view it from afar, capturing the view from viewpoints on the riverbank; some kayaking enthusiasts paddle closer for a better look. During the soft light of early morning or evening, the reflection on the calm water and the silhouette of the cabin are particularly photogenic.Visesava · 26.3km from Uzice

The Šargan Eight is a narrow-gauge sightseeing railway in western Serbia, running between the stations of Mokra Gora and Šargan Vitasi, with the entire line being approx. 15.5 km long. The line was once a section of the narrow-gauge main line connecting Belgrade and Sarajevo, extending as far as the Adriatic coast. After being closed for many years, it was restored and reopened as the sightseeing railway it is today. To overcome an elevation difference of approx. 300 m over just over 10 km, the tracks wind through the mountains in a giant "8" shape. In some sections, the train even passes the same spot twice, which is how it got its name. Riding this nostalgic train, nicknamed "Ćira," half the fun is outside the window: the railway runs between Tara and Zlatibor mountains, passing through 22 tunnels and over several bridges in succession, with some tunnel walls still dripping with mountain water. The carriages retain the style of the 1930s, and the wooden details are full of old-world charm. To see the full "8" shape, you can look down from the viewing point near the Krst station, where the upper and lower tracks look like two railways stacked on top of each other. On the return journey, the train stops at a spot with a wide view for passengers to take photos. There is a longer stop at the final station, where you can get off and explore the old station building. The area around Mokra Gora station has been developed into a museum-style tourist complex, with a restaurant next to the station serving home-style Serbian dishes, andDrvengrad, created by director Kusturica, is not far away and is often visited in combination with the train ride.Mokra Gora · 27.8km from Uzice

The elegant wooden village in Serbia, where all the houses are built entirely of wood, was the filming location for the movie "Life is a Miracle." It's a great place to relax and unwind, and I highly recommend a visit.

Kadinjaca Memorial Located in Kadinjaca, Serbia, it commemorates the soldiers who died in the Battle of Kadinjaca in 1941. The original pyramid-shaped obelisk and crypt were built in 1952. In 1979, it was expanded with a series of tall, undulating concrete columns surrounding the original obelisk. The tallest column has a large opening in the center, resembling a bullet hole.

I discovered a stunning hidden gem in Zlatibor, a ski resort in Serbia! ❄️ You absolutely must experience the world's longest golden gondola cable car! 🚡 📍Gold gondola Zlatibor 🏠 Miladina Pećinara bb, Zlatibor 31315 Serbia ⏰ Open daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (extended during the ski season) A 20-minute cable car ride takes you directly to the 1400-meter summit. The entire journey is breathtakingly beautiful, with a pristine, snow-covered landscape! Every snapshot is a winter wonderland! ❄️ There's also a gorgeous café at the summit. Be sure to try their signature latte! ☕️ Looking out at the snowy scenery is truly heartwarming. Tip: Remember to bring gloves and a scarf, as it gets extremely cold at the summit!

Located in the small town of Zlatibor in southwestern Serbia. In the border river between Serbia and Montenegro. In the past, people spent the summer in the river and stayed there for fun. It was not built by Milutinovic's nephew as the legend goes.

It's a very old train, each carriage is different, the scenery along the way is pretty good, but there are many caves. If you can't buy a seat ticket during holidays, you can stand at the connection of the carriages to take pictures for a better view (the front of the train is too noisy). Ordinary people can't tell the difference between wide gauge and narrow gauge. The journey is too long and it will be a bit boring later.

This is a very beautiful city park located in an area where the city traffic is also very busy. It is very beautiful and well maintained. A park with a lot of trees and cats in a perfect area. There are also many seating groups. Dozens of cat lovers live in cat houses protected and maintained by the Şişli Municipality, which also brings another kind of beauty to the park. There is also a cafe in the park
