In my opinion, the temple is very beautiful for its sacredness; it's one of five places in Sri Lanka that protects against disasters. And it has a spectacular view of the ocean. It's said to be one of the best places in the world to watch whales from land.

The environment here is very good. There are hardly any Riholas in the sand. The bathing beach is very beautiful.

The hotel we stayed in was right next to the beach. The beach was not the hotel's private beach, but there were very few tourists. For people like us who were not in a hurry, it was very pleasant to have a drink and sunbathe on the beach.
