Tipasa Historic Site

Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania
The Royal Tombs of the Province of Mauritania is located in Tipasa, about 70 kilometers west of Algiers, the capital of Algeria. It is a monument of great historical and cultural value. Tipasa Roman Ruins Park preserves the ruins of the ancient Roman city. It was built by the sea and has a history of more than 2,000 years. Although only ruins remain, the remaining buildings can vaguely show the magnificent scenes of the time. Especially the ancient Roman Colosseum here, you can feel the bloody scene at that time. It is the most worthwhile place to visit in Algiers.
