On July 10, Showa 20 (1945) at the end of the Pacific War, Sendai was severely damaged by the strategic bombing of the U.S. Air Force, and Zuiho Hall was also burned down in the Sendai air raid. At the same time, the Gansen Hall, where the second-generation lord Chungzong was enshrined, and the Sanyo Hall, where the third-generation lord Tsunazong was enshrined, were burned at the same time. The current Zuiho Hall was rebuilt in Showa 54 (1979). Before the construction, an excavation survey was carried out in the local area, and the remains and funerary objects of Date Masamune were discovered.Sendai · 2km from downtown

There are more than 1,000 weeping cherry trees planted in Luoka Park. It is said that Tsunamura, the fourth-generation lord of Sendai Domain, purchased it from Kyoto. After the change of current events, the weeping cherry trees were gradually reduced after the war, and the weeping cherry trees were abandoned. In order to restore the scenic spot and good luck to appreciate the weeping cherry trees, tree planting activities have been started in recent years. Today, it is still a famous place for viewing flowers, and the cherry blossom season attracts tourists from all over the world to enjoy the flowers. Many weeping cherry blossoms bloom late. worth. Although every city has its own history, when I approached it, I didn’t expect that the first thing I saw was the sculpture of Lu Xun! Ha ha! If I remember correctly, the words next to the sculpture were written by Guo Moruo himself. Looking out from the museum, the light and shadows are beautiful. The castle ruins are located on a high point, overlooking the entire Sendai.

The white Guanyin statue is also the tallest Buddhist facility here. The big Guanyin is very majestic. The Guanyin statue here is also very beautiful. The Guanyin statue in Sendai also looks very clean, and the view from the street is also good.

I got muscle pain lol There are 62 steps, in honor of Sendai's 620,000 koku, but it's quite a steep hill just to get there! However, parking is free if you show your visit ticket, which is very reasonable. It was nice to be able to see the statue of Date Masamune, which can only be seen once a year. I was also moved to see the graves of those who committed suicide or died following their lord nearby. I never get tired of looking at the beautiful colors and designs of the openwork carvings.

This is a must-see attraction in Sendai. Built by Date Masamune, the lord of Sendai, Hachimangu Shrine is an important shrine for the people of Sendai to pray to. It is also the main shrine of Hachimangu Shrines throughout Japan. It is very imposing, surrounded by towering ancient trees. I would like to point out that the fried pork cutlet shop at the entrance of Hachimangu Shrine is frequented by Yuzu. It is almost filled with souvenirs of Yuzu fans. Fans are more than just checking in.

My child got to see Date Masamune, their idol! The statue was magnificent, and it was well worth the trip to Aoba Castle. The view from there was also fantastic; you could even see a white Kannon statue in the distance. The plaza is huge, making it the perfect place for kids to run around!

During a trip to Sendai, it was an easy place to get to, so I went there with a child who didn't know about the earthquake. It really made me think, and it really made my heart ache. I cried when I read the notes. I think it's a place that should be passed down to future generations.
