Sagres Fortress

Located in the Algarve region of Portugal, Sagres Fortress is a military fortress built in the 15th century by Prince Henry (Infante Dom Henrique), situated at the southern tip of the Sagres Peninsula, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Ponta da Piedade is a headland with a group of rock formations along the coastline of the town of Lagos, in the Portuguese region of the Algarve. Consisting of yellow-golden cliff-like rocks up to 20 meters high, now the municipality building the walk way and views points for easy for tourist to walking down. They are one of the most famous touristic attractions of Portugal.

beautiful cave, but extremely crowded! paid 10euros/pax to rent a kayak to get to the cave. cave was cold in late Sep, but still worth a visit

It’s very historic attraction, and we really enjoyed seeing the luxury tiles artwork. The gardens are beautiful. Have got a lot of home decor ideas, the souvenir shops is great too.
