Bernina Express is one of the most iconic scenic railways in the Alps. The train departs from Chur in the Canton of the Grisons, Switzerland, passes through Saint Moritz, the Bernina Pass, and the Poschiavo Valley, and arrives in Tirano, Italy, connecting mountains, glaciers, lakes, canyons, and Southern European towns along the way. The journey from Chur (Switzerland) to Tirano (Italy) and back to Chur will take almost the whole day. I’d consider this as one of the most beautiful scenic trains in the world. Bernina Express will not disappoint you. Lifetime experience indeed.
