The castle has now been converted into a courtyard restaurant, and climbing to the top offers a view of the entire city of Rijeka. The castle is owned by the Count Laval Nugent family, and the Trsat Dragon is the castle's guardian symbol and the family's coat of arms.

It was windy and rainy on the day we went to Terce Castle. It was really cold on the mountain. The castle was rather run-down and there were not many tourists. You can see the whole city from the mountain. If it is not on your way, I would not recommend it. After a round trip, we set off for Zadar.
