Changtang National Nature Reserve

Changtang National Nature Reserve is one of the five major pastures in China,located between the Kunlun Mountains, Tanggula Mountains, and Gangdise Mountains,with an average altitude of over 4,500 m. It is not only a paradise for wildlife but also a fertile ground for culture with a rich heritage. Herders have created an enchanting and vibrant nomadic culture here. Tents are a major sight here. In addition to traditional yak-hair tents, there are also nylon tents in red, blue, yellow, green, and white. They are colorful and come in various shapes, with many tents featuring colorful prayer flags fluttering on top.

Tangra Yumco

Tangra Yumco is located in Wenbu No. 2 Village, Northern Tibet, next to the ruins of the Zhangzhung Kingdom. At an altitude of 4,530m, it is one of Tibet's famous holy lakes and a very important sacred lake for the Bon religion. This remote area features crystal-clear water and breathtaking scenery. Tangra Yumco is shaped like a vajra, with a round top, narrow middle, and long bottom, and is surrounded by mountains. To the south, the peak of Daguo Snow Mountain remains snow-covered all year round. Due to its strategic, easily defensible terrain and favorable climate, this was once the site of the royal palace of the Zhangzhung Kingdom. It remains one of the areas with the highest concentration of Zhangzhung ruins in Northern Tibet, serving as a key to unlocking the mysteries of Zhangzhung culture and an important site for studying Bon culture.

Wenbu Village

Wenbu Village is located in Nagqu Prefecture. Wenbu is one of the well-known birthplaces of the Bon religion; it contains the ruins of the capital of the Zhangzhung Kingdom, an important place for the kingdom's prosperity and development; situated in the heart of the Qiangtang Plateau at an altitude of 4,700 meters, it is a place where barley can be grown and willows can be planted to form groves; it is also home to the sacred mountains and lakes of the Bon religion—Dangra Yumco and Dargo Mountain. Wenbu Village faces the lake and is a village clustered with temples, boasting beautiful scenery of lake and mountain views, barley fields, and more.

Dangqiong Co

Dangqiongcuo, also known as Dangxiongcuo and Dangqiongcuo, is located in Nima County, Nagqu Region, Tibet Autonomous Region of China, in the south of Nima County and in the north of Dangjayongcuo. The area is much smaller than Dangjayongcuo. But the scenery of the lake is pleasant, the water birds are in groups, and the flocks walk through leisurely, making people feel like being in a fairyland.

Daguo Snow Mountain

Daguo Snow Mountain is located in Nima County in Nagqu. It is one of the sacred mountains of the ancient Xiangxiong tribe and one of the four major snow-capped mountains in Tibet.

Tokyo Skytree

"Tokyo Skytree" is a unique landform shaped by natural forces. Located in the interior of the Changtang Plateau at an elevation of approx. 4,400m, the climate is cold and dry, surface vegetation is sparse, and tall trees can hardly grow. The area's special geology and long-term erosion and weathering by flowing water and wind have carved intersecting gullies that, seen from above, form a complete tree-like trunk and branches, as if a giant tree is rooted in the ground. The peculiarity of this landscape is that its form is entirely the result of natural evolution, not man-made carving or planting. G317 national highway runs near the formation, and travelers can make a short stop along their route to view it. Because the full tree-like outline is mainly visible from higher vantage points, aerial perspectives better reveal its overall shape. In recent years, it has gradually become a distinctive scenic stop on northern Tibet road trips and has also attracted photography enthusiasts who come to document plateau landforms.
