Things to do in Nantou

I had a great time with my friends at Sun Moon Lake. It’s convenient that I booked the activities here in Trip.com.

The scenery is stunning. A must-see in Taiwan, full of cute lambs. Buying tickets online and entering by scanning the QR code is very convenient. The trails in the scenic area are stunning.

So convenient! You just havs to show your QR code/ booking voucher to claim your ticket. Had a great time at Sun Moon Lake Ropeway. For the lake cruise, I claimed mine from the Visitor's Centre at Ita Thao— the ladies there are very welcoming and they understand right away when you show them the booking QR code.

The scenic area is at an altitude of 1,800 meters. The park is not too big, but it is all rugged and beautiful. The free-range sheep are very cute and you can buy food to feed them. The air is fresh and the sun is abundant. It is worth a visit.

The scenery changed from different angles, but climbing uphill was incredibly tiring. The sun was blazing, and it was also awkward when a sudden downpour came and there was nowhere to take shelter 😅 I had to walk back to the parking lot to get my car… and then keep going.

In terms of service, the tour guide's enthusiasm and attentiveness made the whole visit more enjoyable, especially the extra chocolates given. These small details make people feel the park's care. Although there are not many choices in the dining area, being able to taste gelato in a European-style castle is also a highlight. Although the price is slightly higher, considering the atmosphere here, it is worth it. Overall, Cona's Nina Chocolate Dream Castle Tourist Factory is a place worth visiting. Whether it is the architecture, activities or services, it shows its sincerity. It is a good place for family gatherings or friends. I will definitely come again next time I have a chance.

Yushan has the highest mountain in Taiwan. The air here is relatively fresh and cool. The fog in the mountains is very erratic. Sometimes it is shrouded in clouds and mist, and sometimes it is clear and bright. It is recommended to go to Yushan National Park to watch the sunrise. If you sign up for a local tour group to watch the sunrise, they will help you prepare warm clothes, which is very considerate.

Zoo (touched a live koala Ggg!) The first attraction that the family of three decided on for the Perth trip was the zoo. The promotion about koalas at the ticket office (Figure 2) was very clear. If you want to hold a koala, you need to pay an additional A$35 in advance to make a reservation (we didn't buy it). If you just want to take pictures, it is already included in the ticket. Check the schedule before entering the park. It was already past eleven in the morning when we arrived, so we went straight to see the koalas at 11:30! When you arrive, you will see a koala wall. When you see the koala, the keeper will introduce the koala's name. You can go back to the wall to identify it and take a photo. When I was queuing, I looked back and found that there was a big koala statue behind me, and no one took pictures. Well, I will take a good photo of you after seeing the live koala. While queuing, I learned some little knowledge about koalas. I like the hand sanitizers at the entrances and exits of various projects in the zoo. There are two in this line. It was our turn soon, and the family ran to a koala. I was so excited to be able to see it so close, and I felt it was so cute. The keeper said we could stroke its back with the back of our hands, and helped us take photos with our own phones. He also asked if we wanted to take photos with the koala alone, and we let Zhima do it. Feeling that each group had limited time, we left excitedly and at a loss.

Located 17 kilometers away from Xitou and covering an area of ​​40 hectares, the Shanlinxi Forest Ecological Resort is located in the middle of the hiking hotline from Xitou to Alishan. It is 1,600 meters above sea level and is really cool in summer.
