It was originally a refuge for the Aztec wanderers, and later became a summer retreat for the wealthy Aztecs. Formerly used as a military academy, a weather station, it is now a Museum of History (Museo Nacional de Historia). Located in Zone 1 of Chapultepec Park, the in-house museum showcases a long period of history. The symbolic objects of various periods are fascinating. In addition, the museum also has exquisite murals, such as panoramic murals in the sixth exhibition hall. In addition, a large number of paintings, photos and documents are collected here.Mexico · Mexico City

The temple, which sits at the center of the Aztec world, was destroyed by Spanish colonists in 1521 and is now in ruins. There is a museum in the Great Temple, displaying the remains of archaeological discoveries, which is a good demonstration of the ancient civilization of the Aztecs. Entering the ruins of the Great Temple, people can approach it layer by layer along the route excavated by archaeologists. Next to the ruins is the 4-story Museo del Templo Mayor (Museo del Templo Mayor).Mexico · Mexico City

5 reviews
Ik Kil Cenote is located on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, not far from Chichen Itza, and is a naturally formed open-air cenote. "Ik Kil" means "place of the wind" in the Mayan language; it was considered a sacred site in ancient Mayan civilization and was once an important location for Mayan sacrificial rituals. Cenoteopening is nearly circular with a diameter of approx. 60 m. The surrounding stone walls extend almost vertically downward, with a drop of approx. 26 m from the ground to the water surface, and the water is approx. 40 m deep. The stone walls are covered with lush green vegetation, and long vines hang from the edge of the opening down to the water. When looking up from the water, sunlight streams in through the circular opening, making the vines look like a green waterfall suspended in the air. Follow a hand-carved stone staircase down to the water. There are nearly 100 steps. Once you reach the water, you can swim in the clear freshwater. The cenote features a diving platform for visitors to experience cliff diving. Black catfish swim in the water, adding a touch of wild charm to this natural pool.Mexico · Tinum

Dolphins Beach

22 reviews
Dolphins Beach is a public beach at the southern end of the Cancun Hotel Zone, named for the pods of dolphins that once frequented the area. Although dolphins are rarely seen today, you may still catch a glimpse of them from the observation deck in the early morning. Standing from a high vantage point, the view between the soft white sand and the turquoise Caribbean water is unobstructed, which sets it apart from other beaches in Cancun and makes it particularly popular with local residents and independent travelers. The El Mirador observation deck above the beach is the perfect spot to overlook the entire coastline. Next to it stands the giant Cancún sign, a popular photo spot. From here, you can enjoy the view of the turquoise water churning with large white waves. Strong waves are a key feature here, attracting local surfers to practice year-round.Mexico · Cancun

Historic center of Mexico Cityis the historic core of Mexico City, extending outwards from the center, and was designated a World Heritage Site in 1987. This area was built on the ruins of Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztec Empire, where Spanish conquistadors began rebuilding the city in the 16th century, allowing Aztec ruins and colonial architecture to coexist in the same neighborhood. The entire historic center brings together a vast number of historical buildings from the 16th-century colonial period to the early 20th century, and strolling through it, you can experience the layering and fusion of three historical eras: Aztec civilization, the Spanish colonial period, and modern Mexico.Mexico · Mexico City
Tulum

Tulum

4.5/5
148 reviews
Tulum sits on a Caribbean cliff along the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. This coastal city-state was built in the late Maya civilization and remained inhabited, reaching its peak between the 13th and 15th centuries. "Tulum" means "wall" in Yucatec Maya, as the ancient city is enclosed by stone walls several m high on three sides, with the fourth facing the sea, serving as both a fortress and a port. It was a gateway for the inland Maya city of Cobá to maritime routes and a key hub for goods like obsidian. Facing the sunrise over the sea, it was possibly once called Zama, meaning "city of dawn." The main attractions are concentrated along the cliff edge: El Castillo stands at the cliff's end as the site's landmark, with carvings of deities like the feathered serpent visible on its facade. The Temple of the Frescoes retains remnants of Maya murals and red handprint decorations, while the Temple of the Descending God features a diving deity figure, an iconic symbol of Tulum. The Temple of the Wind occupies a small rocky platform jutting into the sea, offering expansive views perfect for capturing the turquoise waters and white sand. Below the cliff lies a beach where many travelers stop to wade or rest, and iguanas basking among the rocks are common "locals." Follow the cliffside path to explore the temples, then look back at the castle from the seaside—the frame of ancient stone walls against the Caribbean is what sets it apart from inland Maya ruins. At dawn, the soft light enhances the layers of the walls and sea, and the site is relatively quiet.Mexico · Tulum
Constitution Plaza
No. 2 of Night Attractions in Mexico

Constitution Plaza

6.9
4.5/5
145 reviews
Constitution Plaza is the main square in the historic center of Mexico City, though locals prefer to call it by its nickname, "Zócalo." This open space, with sides about 240m long and covering nearly 60,000 square meters, sits on the former site of Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztec Empire—after the Spanish destroyed the ancient city, they planned the plaza on the original site in the 16th century. In the 18th century, it became famous for the Parian Market, a hub for merchants. For hundreds of years, it has remained the center of city celebrations and daily life. The name "Constitution" comes from the Spanish Constitution of Cádiz of 1812, while "Zócalo" comes from an interesting piece of history: in the 19th century, there was a plan to build an independence monument in the plaza, but only the base (called "zócalo" in Spanish) was completed. Although the base was long ago removed, the name has stuck and has even become the common term for the main squares in many Mexican cities. Today, the plaza is surrounded by iconic buildings: to the north is the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral, which blends various colonial styles; the National Palace on the east side houses massive murals by Rivera; to the west is the historic National Pawn Shop building; and the Templo Mayor ruins are located just to the northeast. The Zócalo subway station is right next to the plaza. A flagpole about 50m tall stands in the center of the plaza, where soldiers hold flag-raising and lowering ceremonies every morning and evening. Major celebrations and cultural performances are also often held here. On the eve of Independence Day in mid-September each year, the plaza is filled with celebratory crowds.Mexico · Mexico City

Chichen Itza is an ancient Mayan city ruin located on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Founded in the 5th century AD (around 514 AD), it was the political, religious, and astronomical center of the Mayan civilization at its peak. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. Centered around the Pyramid of Kukulkan, the site blends Mayan and Toltec cultures, and contains hundreds of stone structures, including a temple of warriors, a large ball court, and an observatory, showcasing the Mayan people's remarkable architectural and astronomical achievements.

This park is absolutely fantastic! It's definitely one of the best places to visit in the Americas. If you're a fast-paced young person, you can just buy an afternoon ticket, plus a shuttle bus from your hotel. Enter the park at 4 PM, walk the black line, then the white line, then the red line, then the green line, and finally the blue line back to the black line, arriving just in time for the show at 7 PM. The show is two hours long, covering everything from Mayan culture to modern Mexican dance and song – well worth seeing. The cutest animals in the park are the flamingos, tapirs, and red parrots – they're even bigger and cuter than I expected.

On Saturday morning, I took a walk in Mexico City, where traffic suddenly became less, and the air suddenly became better. I walked 2.5 kilometers and felt the joy of exercise. I saw many people in the park area on holidays, and I saw children happily visiting the zoo. Although there were not many animals, the natural ecology was well maintained.

The Great Temple is located next to the central square. It is a super convenient attraction. The original temple has been destroyed by Spanish colonists. Only the tower base and stone steps remain, but the architecture of that time is still amazing👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We welcome tourists to Dolphin Beach. The iconic landmark here is the big "CANCUN" logo, which is also a good place for tourists to check in. This is the public beach in the hotel area. After all, many all-inclusive hotels have their own private beaches! Pay attention to sun protection in the azure Caribbean Sea, and parasols are provided. La Isla Shopping Village in Cancun is the largest shopping center and commercial street. It has local brands, various souvenirs, and international brand stores. It is located opposite Westin Lagunamar in the central area of the hotel area. For more fun in Mexico, please consult me!

Cancun, God's last tear! North America's backyard! The entire resort area is the number 7, with all kinds of resorts and hotels on both sides of the coastline! I stayed in an all-inclusive hotel, which means a one-stop service for eating, drinking and having fun! When you check in, you will receive a hand card, a meal schedule and a restaurant distribution map (Japanese cuisine requires reservations). It is very pleasant to blow the wind and look at the blue sky at the beach. [Fun] [Scenery]

Mexico City's Constitution Square is the center of the city. It is said that the very simple buildings around the square are where the president's office is located. As long as you register, you can enter the building for a visit. There is also a magnificent church with amazing interior decoration.
