Bahrain Fort

Such a small country is actually divided into four provinces. One province is equivalent to an administrative village in China. I really admire it! The buildings are also strange. The Gulf countries are all supported by oil. One day when the oil is gone, I have to wonder if they will forget the skills they used to release.

Arad Fort was built in the typical style of Islamic forts during the 15th century before the Portuguese invasion of Bahrain in AD 1622. It is surrounded by a small trench which used to be filled with water from wells that were drilled especially for this purpose. In every corner of the upper wall of the fort there are nose shaped openings for marksmen.
