Vilnius Cathedral is located on the wide church square at the foot of Gediminas Mountain. It was built in 1387-1388. It was the first Gothic wooden church. The chapel of St. Casimir is in Baroque style, with frescoes depicting the life of the Lithuanian saint and his silver coffin.

Hill of Crosses is a pilgrimage site 12 km north of the city of Siauliai. It is believed that the first crosses were placed at a former military bunker site after the Lithuanian uprising against Russia in November 1831. Over the centuries, Catholic pilgrims have placed many crosses here, as well as giant crucifixes, sculptures of Lithuanian patriots, statues of the Virgin Mary, and thousands of tiny effigies and rosaries, each cross representing an unyielding spirit, a noble soul, and the silent, defiant national character.
