Things to do in Liaoning

Xingcheng Ancient City truly lives up to its reputation as one of the four best-preserved ancient cities from the Ming Dynasty in my country. The Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture and cultural features within the city showcase the grandeur of a historical and cultural city. The ancient city walls and barbican are remarkably well-preserved. Overall, it's well worth a visit; combining modern humanistic concepts with a blend of ancient and modern atmosphere, it's a place you'll want to return to again and again.

Last year around this time, I also visited Liu Laogen in Shenyang. I doubt many people would spend 688 yuan to see it two years in a row like me. Last year, I laughed so hard I almost fell over; it left a very deep impression. Even though I've seen it several times over the years, especially since Li Baoguo was just starting out back then, and Errenzhuan was much more colorful. This time, however, I was a little disappointed. The show was basically the same as last year's, the jokes and punchlines were the same, even the selling points and costumes were identical. I laughed, but the same feeling of being doubled over was gone. Being an actor isn't easy, and constantly coming up with something new is even harder. But since they've chosen this path, there's no way around it; actors need to be observant and innovative. I wonder if I'll be pleasantly surprised next time I see it.

Overall, I'm very satisfied. However, with the weather getting cooler, it would be better if there were buses with soft seats, as they're too cold. Also, I hope the staff operating the shuttle buses could have better service and not be so rude.

A highly recommended scenic spot. The red Suaeda salsa, blue sea, and golden rice paddies create a picturesque autumn landscape. It's advisable to check the tide schedule beforehand and visit before high tide, as the morning light is ideal for taking great photos. A great place for family trips, with birdwatching, red-crowned crane releases, crab fishing, and more. Children can learn a lot while having fun.

The attraction itself is so-so, not much to see or see, and not many buildings; it's just a large park. Our tour guide, Mr. Li, led the group and provided excellent and comprehensive explanations. Without his explanations, we wouldn't have understood anything. He talked a lot about the history, the origins of the buildings, and so on.

The museum has 7 exhibition halls, with more than 800 photos, more than 300 objects, nearly 100 documents and archives, 19 groups of large and small scenes, 4 sculptures, more than 20 oil paintings and Chinese paintings, 14 computer touch screens, and 2 large-screen TV recorders. It has adopted modern scientific technology, equipped with zone broadcasting, central air conditioning, film and television lecture hall, electronic reading room, multimedia computer system and international Internet facilities. It is the world's most comprehensive museum reflecting the history of the "September 18th" Incident. It is now a national patriotism education base, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a national first-class museum, and a base for exchanges with Taiwan in Liaoning Province.

The old houses are made of blue bricks, and the brick and wood carvings are exquisite. The Big Green Building, the Little Green Building, and Miss Zhao Si's Building have unique architectural styles, including Roman, Japanese, and Nordic styles, and are worth visiting.

It's definitely worth experiencing the feeling of being between the mountains and the sea. The scenic area is well-designed, with boardwalks, stone steps, and karst caves formed over hundreds of millions of years. You can also get close to the sea and feed seagulls on the beach. There are several rest areas, and the prices are reasonable for a scenic area.

The Broken Bridge over the Yalu River is a major tourist attraction in Dandong, especially at night when the lights are on. Feeling the wind from the Yalu River and looking at the scenery of the Broken Bridge, one is reminded of the history of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea.
