Things to do in Jing County

This ancient village, built in the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, is well-preserved and restored. With mountains and water, the main attraction is the winding stream, which has a charming atmosphere. Besides the commercial street just inside the north gate, the shops along the stream are quieter, fitting the style of an ancient town. Many are family-run restaurants serving local cuisine. Prices are neither cheap nor too expensive, with clearly marked prices and transparent pricing. There are also plenty of affordable noodle shops and various snacks and desserts. Enjoy your visit and eat to your heart's content.

The Peach Blossom Pool is a thousand feet deep, but it cannot compare to the depth of Wang Lun's affection for me. This ancient poem has made Peach Blossom Pool a famous scenic spot, attracting visitors from far and wide. The water is clear, the scenery is beautiful, and the residents within the scenic area go about their daily lives, while tourists stroll through the area. However, a boat trip is required to reach the other side, and the ticket price of over 30 yuan for a mere 100 meters seems too expensive.

The Xuan Paper Culture Park in Jing County, Xuancheng, boasts a striking design, seamlessly blending geometric shapes with Hui-style architecture to create a unique aesthetic. The park includes a Xuan Paper Museum, an interactive area, a plant material display area, and a giant 3-zhang-3-yuan Xuan paper exhibit, along with engaging exhibits and explanations. A visit to the park is truly educational!

There are only two slopes, and you still get soaked. The rest are for the elderly. The green mountains and green waters are quite comfortable. I like the elderly. It is comfortable and cool to lie down all the time. The 30-degree temperature feels like 20 degrees on the boat. The water is a bit dirty when you are about to reach the end. There is a free shuttle bus back to the starting point at the end. If you want to change clothes, you still have to park your car at the end and take the shuttle bus to the starting point.

The scenery is beautiful, but the complimentary Shu Road climb is strenuous, so those who are not in good physical condition should not attempt it. The equipment on the downhill slide is a bit old. Actually, the scenery inside and outside the scenic area is quite nice.

Like a stack of Xuan paper slowly unfolding, it paints a cultural scroll of southern Anhui in ink and wash style. Take photos, produce pictures; visit the 108 steps of Xuan paper making and marvel; watch the factory making giant three-foot-three-inch Xuan paper and be amazed; experience Xuan paper making yourself and feel satisfied.

For someone like me who lives in a plain area, the scenery was quite nice. However, upon closer inspection, the bamboo rafts were made of plastic, not real bamboo, which made it less enjoyable. The all-inclusive ticket didn't include the mini-train; you had to buy a separate ticket for 30 yuan per person, which was a bit disappointing! The animals in the woods were all very thin, which was a bit off-putting. I hope the景区 management will treat them better! Many tourists brought their dogs, which added to the trip, but some dogs were quite aggressive and would fight and bark. I hope the景区 can improve its supervision and management in this regard.

Just looking at the scenery, I think it is worth a trip to the Southern Anhui Grand Canyon. It is so beautiful, hahahaha, and most importantly, there is enough water! You won't be unable to float

I am quite satisfied with the overall environment. The garden is not very big. There are not many kinds of animals. There are two elephants at the entrance. I thought there must be some inside. I took my baby to look for them for a long time but couldn't find them.

Driving all the way there in the morning, the scenery is breathtaking! Blue sky, white clouds, green water and green mountains, and Hui-style buildings reflected in the water! Bamboo rafting is also very comfortable, with cool breeze and water vapor, a good place to cool off! Taohuatan is indeed worthy of its reputation!
