In April, with a gentle spring breeze, I accompanied my mother on a stroll through the Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang. The Yi River flowed murmurly, flanked by verdant mountains. The thousand-year-old grottoes, nestled against the slopes, displayed a majestic and gentle grandeur under the warm spring sun. Walking slowly along the stone steps, we saw countless niches scattered across the cliff face, their lifelike forms a testament to a thousand years of wind and rain. Looking up at the solemn and compassionate Vairocana Buddha, its gentle and serene smile soothed the soul, as if quietly observing the myriad aspects of life, recounting the glorious past of the Tang Dynasty and the vicissitudes of time. Before, I was always busy with life, rarely having the time to spend with my family. Today, walking slowly with my mother, appreciating the scenery and the ancient charm, my heart was filled with peace and warmth. The most beautiful scenery in the world is never the grandeur of mountains and rivers, but the tender moments spent with loved ones. May time treat us gently, preserving the beauty of the ordinary. For the rest of my life, I will spend more time traveling with my family, making the most of the spring sunshine and the time spent together, and cherishing every warm and tender moment of daily life.
