Our tour guide, Xiao Wang, was very helpful and reliable. He added me in advance and gave me reminders before the trip. He was also very attentive and responsible throughout the entire trip. The driver also worked very hard, driving for six or seven hours round trip. Although the trip to Fanjingshan was tiring, it is highly recommended!
We came at the wrong time of year, during the dry season, so the waterfall wasn't very powerful. It's also not very friendly to seniors over 60. In other cities across the country, tickets are half-price, but in Guizhou, it's full-price. Why not implement the nationally unified ticket price?
The night view of Xijiang Miao Village is beautiful, but it's quite commercialized. Staying in a guesthouse within the scenic area is a good experience, as you can see many sightseeing buses running in the early morning. The only drawback is that you can only board at designated locations, but you can stop anywhere to get off. If this could be improved so that the sightseeing buses can pick up and drop off passengers at any location, it would be perfect.
The scenery is nice, but it gets monotonous after a while. Be prepared for a long walk, at least three hours. Halfway through the journey, everyone is basically just waiting to reach the exit; it's really tiring, with all the ups and downs. There's a small shop right outside the entrance, but the items aren't cheap. I suggest walking a little further out; there are plenty of food stalls there.
The oddly shaped stones were quite interesting. There weren't many people during the Chinese New Year, so the experience was good. However, many small shops were closed, and transportation wasn't very convenient. It was rather quiet due to the holiday.
There were so many people, and the weather wasn't great either, with a sudden downpour. The service was definitely not up to par, but the scenery was still nice, and the cool climate in summer is also appealing.
Qingyan Ancient Town, with a history of 600 years, boasts beautiful bluestone roads, ancient and mottled city walls, a family of outstanding talents from the Zhao family, street performers, and of course, the must-try Qingyan Zhuangyuan Trotter.
This is the most fun place in Xingyi, suitable for all ages. The kids played with tie-dye. Families rode tricycles around the rice paddies, carefree and relaxed. The fragrance of rice blossoms brought to life the promise of a bountiful harvest.
The scenic area boasts a pleasant environment, featuring a naturally formed water-eroded cave with stunning scenery, making it a truly unique and worthwhile destination. There are also waterfalls and bamboo rafts for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Transportation is convenient, and there's plenty of food, drinks, and entertainment to enjoy.
