Things to do in Fuyang

Both the West and East sections are man-made attractions, but the natural scenery inside is better. However, the trail design is unreasonable, and the 12 flower islands do not form a connecting loop. We only visited 3 islands and returned via the same route.

It's so beautiful, with tons of activities; there are so many attractions just a short walk away. Inside the Aimeng Park, there are many adorable animals, and you can even feed them. You can also get up close and personal with the animals.

I never expected to find such a beautiful private garden on the North Anhui Plain. The front courtyard features southern-style pavilions and towers, while the rear residence boasts northern-style blue bricks and gray tiles—definitely worth a visit. Many women in period costumes come here to take photos.

The scenic area is quite large, with boats, four-person bicycles, and two-person electric scooters available for hourly rental. The trees are mostly newly planted and several years old, and there are many wild reeds along the lake, making the water feel like a wild field. There are bridges, pavilions, and waterside terraces, though not as many as at West Lake. I recommend paying to take the scenic electric scooter for a ride around before finding a better spot for photos. The scooter drivers are very helpful; you can call to book one. Having visited all four of China's four West Lakes, mission accomplished!

管仲老街：穿越时光的皖北明珠 踏入管仲老街，仿佛一脚迈进了历史的长河。作为以春秋名相“管仲”命名的文化旅游街区，它将古建风貌、民俗体验与商贸休闲完美融合，成为皖北地区一颗耀眼的文旅新星。 漫步在全长约1.3公里的老街上，明清时期皖北合院民居和商业街建筑的风格扑面而来，青砖灰瓦、飞檐翘角，每一块砖石都诉说着岁月的故事，复原了古慎城的历史风貌，让人不禁联想到当年的繁华盛景，不愧有“安徽版清明上河园”的美誉。景区以管仲文化为核心，管仲纪念馆、颍上民俗展馆等文化节点分布其中。馆内通过雕塑、碑刻、互动展陈等形式，生动展现了管仲的生平及治国思想，让游客在游览中能深入了解这位春秋名相的传奇一生 ，“管鲍分金”“老马识途”等成语故事的展示，也为老街增添了浓厚的文化韵味。 这里不仅有丰富的文化内涵，还有多彩的民俗体验。国家级非遗花鼓灯、大鼓书、琴书、快板、推剧等轮番上演，让游客沉浸式感受传统文化的魅力。在老街，还能看到糖画、李氏酿酒工艺等非遗传承人的现场展示。节假日的河道花船、古典婚礼秀更是热闹非凡，整条街都沉浸在欢乐的海洋中。此外，老街的美食也不容错过，管仲贡鹅用24味香料卤制，肉质紧实；颍上米粉配荆芥和酱豆，酸辣鲜香，让人垂涎欲滴。 夜幕降临，老街又是另一番迷人景象。千盏灯笼亮起，灯光倒映在外城河面，水波荡漾，光影摇曳，如梦如幻。此时乘坐游船穿行于拱桥之下，仿佛穿越回古代，惬意又浪漫。 管仲老街虽然在文旅融合上表现出色，但也存在一些小瑕疵。比如规模较小，核心景点不过800米，两三个小时就能逛完，内容略显单薄；商业气息偏重，部分商品和小吃价格偏高。不过，总体而言，管仲老街仍不失为一个值得一游的好去处，它让人们在喧嚣的现代生活中，寻得一处静谧的历史港湾，感受传统文化的独特魅力。

During the National Day holiday, I accompanied my child to review for the exam. I happened to stay at a hotel next to Wenfeng Park. I went to the park for a walk at noon. The park is not big and is open for free. It takes less than an hour to walk around. There is a large lotus pond in the park. Since it is autumn, the lotus has disappeared. It must be beautiful in summer. The lake is rippling with blue waves, fish are swimming in groups, and several black swans are foraging on the shore. The sweet-scented osmanthus in the garden exudes a refreshing fragrance. Under the Wenfeng Tower, there is a winding stream and lush forests and bamboos. It is very quiet and hidden in the surrounding bustling city.

It was really amazing. The whole journey lasted 55 minutes, with all kinds of lights, water curtains, and live stage performances. It made me see a different Fuyang. The children were so happy that they kept saying how beautiful it was all the way. What could be more important than making the children happy?

Wulihu Ecological Wetland Park is located close to the west of Yingshang County, 1 km from the S12 Chuxin Expressway in the north and Balihe Scenic Area in the south. It is divided into three parts: the urban forest in the north, the water town in the middle, and the wetland paradise in the south. The north and middle sections are open to visitors, and the south section is still under construction. The vegetation in the wetland park is lush. The lotus in summer is not specially enclosed in a piece of land for people to appreciate like other wetland parks, but is scattered throughout the river. You need to discover it yourself. In autumn, the golden wheat on the bank matures, presenting a beautiful rural scene.
