This time we flew there and took the high-speed train back. I felt the high-speed train wasn't very cost-effective; meals weren't provided and there was a 55 RMB meal fee per person. Next time, I'll stick to flying—the price difference wasn't that much. Regarding the itinerary, our guide Chen You at the Summer Palace was the best. She was very knowledgeable and explained things in great detail and with great patience. Thank you very much. The most unsatisfactory guide was Li at the Forbidden City. He seemed reluctant to explain much, just rushed through the itinerary, and when we asked questions, he said he didn't know the answer—not very professional. It was already hot, and the return bus made our group wait for almost half an hour; the service was poor. Overall, Ctrip is good, and I will book through Ctrip again in the future.
