Reviews: Swiss Travel Pass
Guest User2026-09-12
Booking the Swiss Travel Pass on Ctrip was very convenient and even offered discounts. After booking, I printed out the QR code and carried it with me, and also downloaded a backup app on my phone. This made it very easy to have the ticket inspector scan the QR code when I encountered a ticket check. The pass was a bit pricey when I bought it, but the benefits were incredible. It allows unlimited travel on trains, buses, subways, boats, and cable cars (some offer discounts), and free admission to museums, making my trip to Switzerland incredibly convenient. I encountered ticket checks on trains, buses, and boats, so don't take chances; always buy a ticket.

Reviews: Matterhorn Private Skiing Day Zermatt
Guest User2026-01-02
Our family of four had a great week up on the mountain with Claudio in Zermatt. He showed us around the mountain from different starting points on different days, and we spent a day skiing to and in Italy! He was flexible to start where/when we requested each morning, and he was happy to take all four of us or just the kids, depending on what our needs were that day. Claudio was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp, and he sent us pictures of the kids at some of the scenic spots. Our skiing skills improved vastly over the week. We’d definitely recommend Evolution and Claudio.

Reviews: From Zermatt: Cogwheel Train Ticket to Mount Gornergrat

There weren't enough tourists to make the skip-the-line option worthwhile, but that's impossible to know beforehand. If I were to do it again, I think the round trip is sufficient without the stop-and-go option. We went to the highest point and walked down to the next stop to finish the return trip to Zermatt by train. The scenery... words fail me, it was so beautiful all the way down on foot. A very good decision. The 35 minutes indicated turned into 1.5 hours because we were so engrossed in the view and took lots of photos. The fog lifted, allowing us to gradually discover the beauty and grandeur of the place. Highly recommended.
