A truly memorable Mount Bromo itinerary experience. One important tip—make sure to get enough rest beforehand, as advised by the admin, because the trip can be quite physically demanding, especially with the early hours and constant movement. It was definitely tiring throughout, even more so as I was on my period during the trip, but I’m really glad I pushed through and completed it. The journey may test your energy, but the reward at the end is absolutely worth it—the sunrise view over Bromo is breathtaking and something I’ll never forget.

Okay I know Bromo is on every Instagram feed ever but trust me it actually hits different in real life. We got there before dawn, it was foggy and cold and kind of eerie then the sun came up and painted everything orange. Our guide drove us through the sea of sand like it was nothing, so calm and efficient. Nothing felt rushed. Spanish guys in our group said it was the best day of their whole Asia trip. Agreed.

The blue of Sulfur Lake is so beautiful that it can be captured with a phone camera without any filters. The blue lights are artificial; many foreigners don't need them to avoid getting lost, as there are people along the way and small shops for supplies. The climb is strenuous, but our guide was excellent at keeping up with our pace and providing great service. It's worth seeing; it requires a certain level of physical fitness, but if you have superpowers, you could just pay for a Lamborghini and enjoy a painless hike. Booking through Ctrip is reliable, and we tipped everyone in the end, which was the best form of recognition.

Excellent excursion. Very cool guides. Especially Akso (if I spell his name correctly) – everything was super. They pick you up from the hotel and accompany you completely. I recommend it. Thank you! You were super. However, those who want to go should keep in mind that the climb is actually not easy, and the descent to the blue fire is not at all convenient. There was a traffic jam there of people wanting to see it, both those who had gone up and those who were coming down.
