Reviews: Adelaide: Half-day McLaren Vale & Glenelg Wine Tasting Tour

We had such a wonderful day, it was the highlight of our trip. Bruce, our driver and guide, was excellent - full of knowledge, friendly and a great sense of humour. McLaren Vale is gorgeous - a must see. The two wineries were incredible locations and the tastings were top notch. We were worried it would be a bit too high brow but it wasn’t, it was the perfect balance and all were made to feel welcome. We asked if we could leave the tour in Glenelg, just to make the most of our last night, and we would recommend that too!

A great day out! The tour guide Bruce was very knowledgeable and his commentary was funny and entertaining. At every stop you get sufficient time to explore the place comfortably. The wine tastings were really good with a combined total of 12 different wines to taste. That was good value for money. The bus was comfortable and everyone got along well too! It was a fun tour and would definitely recommend.

Interesting tour. Cruised oast islands you cannot see properly from the mainland. Got closer - saw birds, sea lions and even dolphins! Beautiful. the coastline and rock formations were also worth seeing. Cruise was not too bumpy. Did not get wet! Good weather conditions. Definitely a highlight if my visit to Victor Harbor.
