We booked this day trip online and are so happy with what we got. Dane the captain and Luke the host were great. They knew their stuff, safety was of great importance and they shared friendly banter with all aboard. The picnic buffet lunch was simple yet fresh and delicious. The stinger suits and snorkeling equipment was clean and all in good condition. The weather looked iffy throughout the day and they steered around the rain but still got us to the top spots within the time allocated for the trip, as well as working around the king tides we had so that the currents would be best for each experience. I can not recommend them highly enough. Book Big Fury with Magic Whitsundays and you won't be disappointed.★

The main reason for the trip was to see the scenery, but the helicopter ride was incredibly hot and humid, and we spent an hour in the sun. We also didn't see the legendary heart-shaped reef, which was quite disappointing. The speedboat ride was just a bit windy. The only worthwhile part was the view from the white sand beach viewpoint; climbing up was tiring but incredibly beautiful.
A special reminder: the sea conditions here are complex. Two people were swept away by waves while swimming that day, and we later saw them receiving CPR, which was very distressing. Please, please don't blindly go into the water. Enjoy the scenery; your life is the most important thing!
