Volendam and Marken are small towns where time stands still. Tradition can be felt in the aromas of typical culinary delicacies, in the glimpses between land and sea and in the narrow streets where the houses are like little jewels. The ferry ride was a lovely interlude between the two towns; the departure point was quick and easy to find.

I thought the small tour group I was assigned this time was fantastic! The company was K7 Travel, and the tour guide's name was Surui. The guide was very patient and provided detailed explanations of each attraction, even sharing some Dutch lifestyle tips. I felt so lucky to have met this guide during my trip to Amsterdam; it was a wonderful experience and left me with many positive memories.
