Reviews: Amiens Cathedral

The 8-day itinerary was indeed a bit rushed, but it met the needs of the elderly, allowing them to explore freely. However, the tourist attractions were quite crowded. The accommodations were well-arranged and comfortable. The breakfasts at all the hotels were decent, with the Grand Hotel being the best; the others were just average, lacking any special features, and often included some strangely flavored chili sauce. The tour bus was comfortable, and the driver was very friendly, constantly helping with the luggage. The local guide was very diligent, although the language barrier made understanding a little difficult. We were traveling with two elderly people, and the tour leader and guide took excellent care of them – kudos to them! As for shopping, the shops the guide took us to were quite expensive, and there was nowhere else to go if we didn't want to buy anything. I guess that's how it is with tour groups.
