Reviews: Khmer Cooking Class Half Day (AM or PM)

This is a fantastic opportunity to get immersed (if only for a brief time) in Khmer markets, produce, spices and flavours and Khmer cooking itself. The shopping for fresh food experience is priceless and will likely wake up a complacent Western shopper, used to clean supermarkets, packaged foods and instant everything - mostly inedible and unhealthy. Our teacher and hostess - a gracious lady - gave us a delightful lesson in the basics of cooking with spices and herbs like red chillies, galangal, turmeric, ginger, lemongrass and so much more. In short this is a six-star experience and not to be missed. Do your self a favour and contact the Banana Cooking School when you visit Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. You will love your half or full day cooking class.
