We visited several cities during our trip to Australia and the Wi-Fi usage was great. Hotels also had free Wi-Fi, so the data allowance was more than enough and the signal was excellent. We'd definitely consider using it again next time we're in Australia because it's so cheap and works so well—even more cost-effective than local Wi-Fi!

Good value for money, had reception at most of the places in New Zealand. Signal did drop out a little bit along some routes. We used it do explore both North and South Island of New Zealand. Very handy for Google Maps which did not draw a lot of data. Make sure you turn off any automatic downloads/push data from emails that will drain your data quickly.
