I ordered a set that included the Airport MRT (round trip) and EasyCard (200 NTD included). I'm happy that I got it as a slightly better deal than buying each separately. I felt the information about the pick-up location was a little unclear. If you're arriving at Taoyuan Airport T1, it's located on the Airport MRT station floor (B2). Heading towards the Airport MRT, take the escalator down from the ground floor and you'll find it on the way to the station.★

I was able to purchase tickets for the Taiwan Shinkansen at a 15% discount, exclusive to foreign tourists! First, you make a reservation here, then select your seat on the Taiwan Shinkansen website. Seats are assigned randomly, so I was able to get a seat next to my friend at the ticket counter on the day. The return trip was fully booked, so I couldn't make it, but I was glad I was able to purchase tickets at a discount!★
