It was fantastic. The weather helped but the whole experience was great. It was a bonus that the boat was hybrid so when we were in the river there was no engine noise. It was also a bonus to have an opportunity to speak to the Captain.

The English-speaking tour group I joined included an elderly local gentleman with an accent, which I couldn't understand very well. Since it involved local stories, I decided to skip it. Nine out of the 15 people in the group were retired. The hiking trails were alright, but I didn't hear the explanations clearly and had to rely on maps and improvisation. The caves in the afternoon were nice, but English was too difficult. The route was fixed, which was acceptable. It's a bit far from Hobart, so I didn't really feel part of the experience. I wonder what happened to the free ice cream in the afternoon?
