It was a perfect experience! We were able to observe so many orcas and some humpback whales, some right next to the boat. It was incredible. Because there aren't many tours offered in Ólafsvík, we were practically alone in the ocean and could observe so many orcas and humpback whales undisturbed. Our guide made an effort to show us many different groups of orcas and not stay in one place or with just one group, as they are all unique.

A truly perfect trip! Our driver and guide, Gud Joh, was an incredibly professional and refined gentleman. Despite being very tired from the long drive, he used his expertise in geography and history to provide detailed explanations of each attraction, elaborating on everything from beginning to end. He was incredibly friendly throughout the trip, taking meticulous care of every aspect of our needs, allowing us to forget our travel fatigue and feel completely relaxed and happy. He is the most professional and outstanding guide I have ever met, more like a history and geography teacher, giving us a deeper understanding of Iceland. I feel so lucky to have joined Joh's tour, and I hope to have the opportunity to meet him again in the future!

It's a very interesting activity and the children like it very much. However, the whales are very far away. If you want to see them up close, you still have to take a motorboat.

The driver was a little late when he came to pick us up in the morning, but the overall time arrangement was relatively reasonable. The driver gave a very detailed introduction. The weather was also very good that day. It went very smoothly and the overall experience was good.


