Reviews: Shimla Private Guided Walk Tour exploring the colonial trails

It was an amazing experience. Mr. Pawan Sharma showed all colonial structures and buildings, and enlightened us with his exquisitely elaborate information on them touching all turns of the history of the town. We started at the Old Presidential House, and trailed all the way touching the AIR, the Assambly House, the Viceroy's Office, the Public Library, the Town Hall, the Gorton Castle and others upto the Cathedral. We are elated.

My guide, Raghav, was very knowledgeable and willing to share his extensive information regarding all points of the tour. He knew the history of when the Britishers had been in control as well as the current history. We started at Christchurch Church with its neo-Gothic architecture, stained glass windows and organs which are still in use. The Ridge attracted many outside events and gatherings. The Vice Regal Lodge at the end of the tour, current home to the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies provided a peaceful end to the tour, which had taken in other significant points on the way. Thank you Raghav
