My kids had an amazing time at this workshop! They made two beautiful bird accessories using colored mother of pearl fragments. The shop owner was friendly and patient as she guided my kids throughout the process. Not only did they get to create a beautiful souvenir for our trip, they also learned about Chinese culture. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Shanghai for an authentic cultural experience!★

What a memorable day! From Fiona greeting us at the exact moment in the exact place we knew we were off to a great start. Having a personable, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient tour guide made the sun come out on what started as a dreary day. Our tour through the local street market was educational, helpful and made us eager to start cooking with Chef LiLi. Even though we lingered too long at the markets Chdf LiLi was able to bring us up to speed quickly, teach us new skills and gently correct them so that we can replicate when we return home. Fiona was at our elbows the entire time explaining where needed and encouraging us through our early attempts to BANG BANG some noodles! Thank you both very much for a memorable day!★

We had a wonderful evening with Amber in the Muslim district. The stops were well chosen, the food authentic and delicious, Amber was welcoming, enthusiastic & very informative. Thank you! Note that the booking process was not helpful and that the tour started 30 min before with a different guide than stated on the info we had received. Amber did get us fully caught up fortunately.★

That day, we first visited the Daming Palace Ruins Park, then walked to the Danfeng Gate Museum. After that, we crossed the street, passed Xi'an Railway Station, and walked for about five minutes to reach the Daming Palace Banquet Hall. Upon entering, all the staff were dressed in Tang Dynasty costumes, giving a feeling of traveling back in time. The dining environment was excellent, with both upstairs and downstairs sections. The upstairs section had the advantage of being cheaper and offering a good angle for taking photos. The portions of each dish were small, and I thought I wouldn't be full, but I ended up being quite full. The entertainment was continuous, keeping the atmosphere lively. It was a very good dining experience, and I took many photos.★

We reserved the dumpling and show package but they sent us to the wrong seating area with the dinner package. They found out after the first appetizer and took all the drinks away. We had to wait a while for the correct drinks and food for our package. The dumplings tasted average not too surprisingly good. The show performance was excellent. I think this was mainly designed for foreigners, as there were a lot of tourist groups.★

The Tang Dynasty show in Xi'an was a truly wonderful experience. The booking process was smooth and straightforward. When the show on our chosen date was cancelled, the organizer promptly contacted me via WhatsApp and helped me reschedule it for another date—everything was resolved quickly and easily.
The show itself was truly colorful and spectacular, with impressive costumes and beautiful music. It was a wonderful cultural experience and a wonderful addition to my Xi'an experience.
