We did this tour with our 7 month old and the guides were great! The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a great snorkelling experience.

We only had one day to see this beautiful island. Joao has this tour built for the optimal experience, showing you as much as he can in the time you have. He is a native who knows this land intimately. His knowledge is very extensive, every question we asked he answered in detail. He has a great sense of humor and joy of living. Being with him was so much fun. The restaurant we had lunch in felt very local, with a buffet full of local favorites. They were friendly and the food was delicious and generous. We’ve done many tours so we know how lucky we were to have gotten such a perfect tour guide. He’s also an ace photographer so he took some stellar shots of us in the spectacular setting of the Azores. You won’t be disappointed. Four friends joined four people we didn’t know but he made it comfortable and easy to be together. Book a tour with this group. They are switching to many new electric vans with powerful engines to get you up and over these hills. You can’t go wrong, this tour is wonderful.

We had the best time. Our guide was very knowledgable, friendly and cuorteous! He made it an amazing trip. We loved driving the buggy and loved the breath-taking landscape and the place we were taken. Sete Cidades can get a bit crowded with tourists. Doing the tour wad perfect to avoid the mass tourism. THANK YOU for a great memory!

We had a great time on this tour. A small group in a land rover with an engaging host who showed us all the landmarks and described the histories and legends of the island. As a local he was able to tell us about living in the area and had a personal take on some of the legends. As a tropical island - unfortunately the cloud/mist obscured some of the views but we had a great time.

Andreas was full of information about all of the stops on this tour. He was able to answer all of our (and the others guests) questions. He brought us to a beautiful picture point to see islet vila do campo and at the end brought us to the top of the volcanic crater (about 2000 meters up). This allowed us to see all of the Furnas (including the church that we stopped at earlier that day) in a whole new way. He was very very articulate with explaining the process for both the tea and the pineapple plantations. This tour was a good balance (about 50/50) of structured group time and independent time to explore the stops.
