Reviews: 1-day tour of the Italian Dolomites [round-trip from Venice + optional 8-person premium/bus group]

They were all so quiet and beautiful! The one-day round trip was very well-planned, with no rushing and plenty of time to take photos at each attraction! Go for it, you won't regret it!
Reviews: From Venice: Dolomites, Lake Misurina, and Cortina Day Trip

The tour was great. We left on time. The guide stopped at nice spots for photos. We spent some time in Cortina d'Ampezo, then went to Lake Misurina where we had lunch and walked around the frozen lake.

Unfortunately it was raining and snowing so hard we did not get to see the dolomites… but our tour guide Giovanni was very professional that he improvised our schedule and had us do something meaningful in place of the actual tour. It’s Giovanni’s professionalism, patience, and the fact that he did his best to do the tour until we could no longer proceed safely that still made it worthwhile for me. From my perspective, not having seen the dolomites as planned just gives me a reason to come back next time!

Bangkok traffic is terrible on weekdays, but Ctrip made good arrangements; we flew to Bangkok on the weekend. The only downside was that the group meals were sometimes insufficient. There was no forced shopping, and there were many optional excursions to choose from, depending on your budget. The tour guide service was good. There were 18 people in the group, which was a good number. The Sheraton in Bangkok was truly excellent; the facilities were great, much better than hotels in Phuket.

Learn about the history of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Especially the performance of the Five Animal Frolics, an ancient form of exercise! The garden also grows some common Chinese medicinal herbs.
