A must-have for Aussies traveling to Asia – huge savings compared to roaming
Rating: 5/5. This was my second time using this eSIM, and I can confidently say it's a game-changer for Australians traveling to Asia.
I did the math, and the cost savings are significant. To put it in perspective, I looked at the big Australian telcos' roaming fees:
· Vodafone & Optus have a daily roaming rate of AUD $5 for international data.
· Telstra's similar plan will cost you AUD $10 per day.
For a 10-day trip, that's an eye-watering AUD $50 to $100 in roaming fees alone.
Then there's the value when compared to other eSIMs. For example, a popular provider like Airalo charges around AUD $37.50 for a 10GB/30-day plan for a single country like Indonesia. However, this Trip.com eSIM gave me connectivity across multiple countries in Asia at a fraction of that cost. I absolutely loved my time here. I love monkeys, so for me this was a dream experience. My husband wasnt too bothered about coming, but he totally loved it too. I have to say that I was a little apprehensive before we arrived that I may get bitten, but I really needn't have worried. They are so friendly and happy and jump around all over the place that you forgot all about it. I didn't stop smiling.
What a wonderful experience, so glad I did it. I would definitely recommend a visit 😊
