The entire trip was self-guided. The airport transfer service provided by Ctrip was very convenient. The Hilton hotel was excellent in both location and service. I highly recommend it, and if possible, stay in an ocean-view room – it's super nice! The only downside is the slightly expensive parking fee of $24 per night. Also, please note that there is an additional service charge when checking into the Hilton Hawaiian Hotel, which is not included in the booking. Of course, everything in Hawaii went perfectly afterwards. The accommodations in Los Angeles were relatively less desirable. The hotel was near the subway, which was convenient for transportation, but the safety of downtown was a concern. It seems most people in the US don't use the subway, and the crowds are quite diverse. I still think Ctrip should improve its services in Los Angeles to provide more convenience for independent travelers like us.
